"What the hell is going on here Natasha?"
"Maria! It's not what it looks like!"
Well, from where Maria is standing, it looks like Natasha was laying on Steve in a romantic way.
"Can you please tell me why it looks like you were about to make-out with Steve?"
"It's a long story but I got angry, he got angry, we fought, I won, and he's a total asshole."
"I am not"
"Shut up."
Maria smirked at them. They're totally in love.
Maria remembered why she came in.
"We have found Loki's location. You both, along with Stark, will go get him."
"I can handle Stark, but Rogers," Natasha sneered at him,"I don't know"
"At least I'm not a crazy cat lady"
"I have one cat Rogers! One cat!"
As if summoned, Scooter came up beside Natasha and started growling at Steve.
"Stark will meet you two at the launch pad. You'll know which jet, it will probably be flashing"

Natasha and Steve were almost to the launch pad when Steve, who pretend the fight never happened and apologized to Natasha, grabbed her by the waist and pulled her behind him.
"What the hell Rogers?"
Steve covered her mouth with his hand.
Natasha bit him.
"Ow!"
Natasha climbed over him and saw Tony.
"This is why you tried to protect me?"
"Stark had his missiles pointed at us."
"Correct Capsicle! I also have a gift that Romanoff over here was supposed to give to you, but thought you didn't deserve it."
"I had my reasons Stark. Just give him the damn thing."
Steve took the round looking box from Tony and opened it.
It was a shield. Captain America's new shield. It was painted red and blue, with a white star in the middle.
Natasha explained what it was.
"Your old shield was destroyed when you crashed the plane. Me and Coulson decided you needed a new shield so our friends down in Africa gave us some vibranium."
"Vibranium?"
"A indestructible element. Only more vibranium can destroy it."
Natasha continued on.
"Your shield is made of a adamantium-vibranium alloy. Basically it's indestructible."
Steve was baffled. Not only was he surprised that he had a new shield, the Black Widow made it for him.

They were flying towards Loki's location.
He was making it pretty public, killing a dignitary in front of thousands.

When they reached the area Tony leapt out of the plane. Leaving a awkward scilence between Natasha and Steve.

Steve jumped out of the plane seconds later; after he heard civilians scream

Natasha, being the ever so helpful spy, watched from the jet as Steve, and Tony, battled it out with Loki.
She couldn't deny that she was worried. She was literally digging halfmoon shapes into her palms with her nails.

Finally, after what seemed hours of torture, Loki surrendered to Steve.
She watched as Captain America and IronMan helped Loki board the jet.
Once he was safe and secure, they took off back to the Helicarrier.
Natasha noticed Steve having a stare-down between Tony, she didn't put much thought into it, clearly because the to men obviously hated each other.

Steve turned to Loki after minutes of glaring daggers at Tony.
Loki seemed ruffled every time thunder was heard.
"You afraid of a little lightning?"
Loki shifted around to face Steve.
"I'm not very fond of it."
The group then heard a thud on the jet's roof.
Thor burst only seconds later.

He took Loki after he opened the gate.
Tony followed them down.
Natasha turned around to see Steve strapping on a parachute, she put aside her hate for him and warned him about Thor.
"You wanna sit this one out cap?"
"No"
"these guys come from legend, they're basically gods."
"There's only one God ma'am. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't dress like that."
Natasha actually smiled at him since their fight and wished him luck as he jumped off the jet.

A/N: vacation slowed down the process of this chapter, sorry. Like I said back in ch1, this will follow Avengers plot line. However, due to the fact I don't own the movie and don't want to spend my money renting it or buying it permanently(don't you dare say I'm lazy! Family life and school are hard! And I don't get allowance often) I'm moving the plot line after Avengers and CATWS(Captain America: The Winter Soldier). I can't bootleg it because it's illegal and since my father is a cop, I don't think he wants to be the one to arrest me :/. Anyway, sorry this chapter came out late, family is/was visiting, and things just got busy. I'm also sick with a positive test for strep throat so chap 7 won't come out any faster than this, lol.
