A/N: I've been having some garbage weeks so that's why I haven't been able to write. I had drama with friends, I lost computer files, I'm super stressed.

~Days before Natasha was captured~
Wanda could feel inside Steve's head before he even got downstairs to yell at them.
She quickly spun around on her chair, Vision grabbing her waist.
Steve opened his mouth to speak, but not before she held her hand up to stop him.
"Before you say anything, yes, she did put a sleeping pill in your water before you went to bed."
His brow furrowed, and his hands were shaking. "I thought we were over this. We had talked about trust and stability, and she leaves me once more," Steve looks up at Wanda. "Where is my wife?" He held back on the last syllable, as if it felt strange and own.
Wanda shook her head, not looking at her team leader. "I'm sorry Steve, I know where she went, but not why."
He sat down in the nearest chair, staring at his shaking hands Steve breathed in deeply, and let out a shaky breath.
"I have to find her," he exclaimed after a couple moments.
"Steve...she's with Tony..."
His hands closed over his face, and a sob escaped his lips. "Why him?"
Wanda crossed the distance between her and her team leader, and sat next to him the way he did her before the Accords were a thing.
"Steve, she still loves you very much, but this was something she didn't even know she was getting into. You couldn't have stopped this. It is Natasha we are talking about."
He sobbed once more into his hands.
Vision calmly walked over, staring curiously at Steve.
"I don't understand the human emotion of sadness quite well, but from what I can gather from Mr. Starks data files, he has lost contact with Mrs. Rogers."
Wanda turned her head sharply at the red being. "Viz!"
"Romanoff.." Steve choked out. "She kept her last name."
"Steve..."
He interrupted her this time around.
"Wanda, I want to find my wife. I want to know why she's with Tony and how he lost her, and you and Vision are coming with me."
