A/N: Mr Indominus Rex says hi!
(And yes, that is my Bearded Dragon, not some picture that someone else took -_-)

"How could you choose him over me!"
"How could you be so dumb!"
Both were steaming at each other, the flames of their anger threatening to spill.
She chose to follow the act, and he didn't. He got mad, so did she. Natasha's eyes blazed a shade he never saw, and in turn, his gentle demeanor shifted too.
She was spitting curses he couldn't even translate, and Steve stood silently like a statute. His hand was place dangerously close to a wooden chair the couple had in their room, and his fingers twitched occasionally, gripping the chair even tighter.
Natasha was aware of the situation, how angry she was, and how angry he was.
Her hands were tangled up in her hair, gripping and pulling on her scalp to stop herself from choking him.
"I thought this would help us Rogers! I thought we could finally have the life we wanted together!" She screamed at him, her vocal cords raw from yelling for so long.
Rogers..
She never called him Rogers anymore. This, this is when he knew Natasha's walls were back up, something that he thought was gone, replaced with newer, and sturdier ones.
Steve snapped. He threw the chair with all his might, with no aim whatsoever. But fate decided that it should hit the one person it wasn't intended too.
Natasha. She was looking at the floor when it hit. Her face a expression of surprise and shock. She slammed into the wall with a sickening crack, and the wall crumbled around her, the chair trapping her.
The dust settled, and her eyes, full of flickering emotions, settled onto him.
"We're done for, Rogers," she croaked. It took her awhile to get the chair off, but she managed to wobble over to him bravely. Her left arm was bleeding but she stood at her full height, and stared at him defiantly. Without looking, she removed the sliver ring Steve had given her when he proposed, and threw it on the floor. "Maybe Sharon is perfect for you after all." That was a low blow, and Natasha knew it, but at the moment, she didn't care.
She felt light headed, but she still carried on until she made it out of Avengers Facility, and called Pepper.
"Hey Pep...Yeah no, I just need to get away for a few days...I'll explain when I get there. Really? Thanks."
Her black Corvette Stingray pulled up in front of her, and she welcomed it.
Looking out the window of the car, she saw Steve, who was holding the ring in his hands, and sadly watching as she drove away.
~X~
After Natasha stormed out, Steve noticed the silver ring glinting in the room, and the urge to get Nat back was strong. Steve fought against it, thinking to himself that I've lost her for good this time.
But this never stopped him. Steve dashed across the facility, tracking Natasha and finally watching her get into her car.
Steve noticed that she was watching him through her car, and he followed her eye until he couldn't see it no more.
She's gone, she really is gone for good.
A lone tear managed to fall as he glimpsed at the silver ring, once a promise of their love, now a symbol of how Natasha left him.

A/N: I am aware it is short. It's just that, because I'm trying to go on the CW timeline, I have to make a lot of stuff up. Trailers can only give you so much information! For this reason, I'm going to be releasing not one, but two OneShots on my book, Life of the Avengers.
Happy Reading!
