Battle for Zaterra

Y/n P.O.V~

I sat in a chair of a waiting room in the royal palace, waiting for it to be my turn to meet with the council of Kahn's. It had been about two weeks since I had first arrived in outworld, and Kitana was feeling better after some late-night talks with me and going out with a girls night out with Jade and Mileena, but know she was back to ruling outworld and doing her best to make it a better place for all. The door to the waiting room opened as a royal guard stepped through and spoke while holding a clipboard.

Gaurd:" Y/n Hashashi, it's your turn."

I got up from my seat, exited the waiting room, and followed the royal guard to the throne room, where I saw Kitana, Mileena, and Jade all sitting in stone thrones in a semi-circle. As I stood in front of the rulers of outworld, I gulped as Kitana spoke.

Kitana:" Y/n Hashashi of the Shirai-Ryu, please state your business to the council."

I took in a deep breath as I spoke.

Y/n:" Council of Kahn's I have come from Earthrealm to Outworld to ask a favor of the council humbly."

Jade spoke while resting her hand under her chin.

Jade:" And what is this favor, Y/n?"

I sighed and gulped, feeling nervous about what I was about to ask.

Y/n:" Council of Kahn's I promised someone that I would ask this of you, now I request that you could free Zaterra from outworld like you did Edenia."

The three women stayed silent for a moment before Kitana spoke.

Kitana:" Y/n, we would free Zaterra even if you didn't request it from us; however, we can not at the moment, because as you may or may not know Shao Kahn has returned, we don't know, but he had, and his forces control part of the land that makes up Zaterra."

Mileena:" That is true but say if we pushed back Shao Kahn's forces and reclaimed the land that was formerly part of Zaterra would it be possible to separate it from out would?"

Kitana:" It's possible, but I don't know if it's the best idea to attack Shao Kahn's forces."

Jade:" But we could ambush them all and catch them off guard."

Kitana:" Perhaps we should vote on this issue. Y/n leave us, we will send for you when we have decided."

I exited the room and again sat in the waiting room as I heard Reptile speak, the snake's voice echoing in my head.

Reptile:" Thank you Y/n, thanks for keeping your promise."

I smiled under my mask and spoke.

Y/n:" It's no problem, Reptile."

After ten minutes of waiting, a guard entered the waiting room and told me that they had decided as I followed the guard and once more entered the throne room as Kitana spoke.

Kitana:" Y/n, we, the council of Kahn's, have decided to attack Shao Kahn's forces in an attempt to free Zaterra, and we would like your help with this because you were the one who asked this of us."

Y/n:" Of course, I will help in any way I can."

Kitana:" Wonderful, we will let you know when we will attack."

I smiled under my mask and thanked the three women before exiting the room.

Third-person P.O.V~

Mileena was in her room looking in the mirror as Kitana entered and spoke.

Kitana:" Hey Kitana, could I talk to you about something?"
