Building an army

Y/n P.O.V~

I sighed as I entered the Shirai-Ryu compound and entered my home. I saw Kana on the couch reading a book and Camilla taking a nap in a chair. I smiled and sat next to my daughter, taking a moment to process my situation. I had gotten both Kōri and Tifa pregnant. Oh god, how was I going to deal with this? I can barely handle one kid, let alone three. I smiled as I gently woke Camilla up. Camilla opened her eyes and smiled at me as she spoke.

Camilla:" Hello, my love."

I smiled, brushing my hands through Camilla's hair before I spoke.

Y/n:" Hey Camilla, could I talk to you?"

Camilla nodded while speaking.

Camilla:" Of course, dear."

Camilla and I exited the room before she spoke.

Camilla:" What is it you need to talk to me about, dear?"

I sighed and rubbed the back of my head before I spoke.

Y/n:" Kōri and Tifa are both pregnant."

Camilla's eyes widened as she spoke.

Camilla:" Oh... I see."

Camilla looked down for a second before she spoke.

Camilla:" Look, let's put a pin in this discussion for now. Anyways how goes the army building?"

Y/n:" Okay, I guess I got the Lin Kuei and some of Cloud's merc friends to help us, but it's still not enough. I'm thinking about going to outworld to ask for the Kahn's help."

Camilla:" Okay, but just be careful."

Y/n:" I always am."

Camilla:" Yeah, sure you are?"

Y/n:" What's that supposed to mean?"

Camilla:" You know what it means."

*Two-week time skip*

I sighed as I looked around in the waiting room I was in before I looked up to see an adviser while they spoke.

Advisor:" Y/n, you can come in now."

I nodded and got out of my seat while entering the Kahns thrown room. I looked up at the three women as Kitana spoke.

Kitana:" Hello, Y/n."

Kitana slightly smiled as she spoke.

Kitana:" It's good to see you again."

I smiled under my mask and spoke.

Y/n:" It's good to see you too, but I'm afraid I don't have the time for small talk."

Mileena raised an eyebrow as she spoke.

Mileena:" Oh really? So tell us, Y/n, what is it you need?"

I looked down at my feet before taking in a deep breath of air before I spoke.

Y/n:" I am building an army; I have the support of both the Shirai-Ryu and Lin-Kuei; I'm afraid that it is not enough, and I still require more forces. I cam here to ask that you lend me some troops to fight in my army."

I sightly gulped as both Mileena and Kitana looked down while Jade looked at me before she spoke.

Jade:" We need time to think about your request. We will let you know when we've made a decision. You may go."

I nodded and exited the room, hoping they would give me the forces I needed for this upcoming battle.
