Third-person P.O.V~

Kuai Liang sighed as he stood under the large tarp looking at the arctic storm that had consumed the city where Shao Kahn's battle had taken place. It had been a week since the storm consumed the city, and people were still missing; some made it out like Tifa and Cloud; however, most people who had been recovered had been put into a coma due to the freezing temperatures. Many others like Lucas were still in the city and hadn't been seen.

Hanzo:" Kuai Liang."

Kuai Liang turned his head to see Hanzo in arctic ninja gear as he spoke.

Hanzo:" Sonya said the briefing is ready."

Kuai Liang followed Hanzo into a room with a makeshift war table as he stood with Hanzo in front of the blond. Sonya looked at the two grandmasters as she spoke.

Sonya:" Okay, grandmasters, your mission objective is to enter the storm and disperse the storm and recover all survivors that you can."

Hanzo:" Understood, but what is causing the storm?"

Sonya:" We believe that Kōri is the one generating the storm."

Hanzo scoffed as he spoke.

Hanzo:" Sonya, what your saying is impossible cryomancers can't create storms, right Kuai?"

Kuai Liang:" Actually, Hanzo, some cryomancers can generate storms. However, it is a rare ability."

Sonya:" Anyway, we need you to go find Kōri and get her to stop this."

Kuai Liang:" Understood."

Sonya:" Good."

Sonya then tossed each of them a walkie-talkie as she spoke.

Sonya:" I want both of you to stay in radio contact; we can't lose either of you."

Kuai Liang:" Don't worry, you won't."

Kuai Liang and Hanzo exited the tent and walked to the city borders to find their children. Hanzo took the first step into the city, Kuai Liang following close behind him as the wind whistled as the duo of ninjas walked through the city. Hanzo sighed as he looked around, seeing all of the buildings iced over as he spoke.

Hanzo:" Honestly, it's hard to believe that Kōri could do something like this."

Kuai Lang looked down as he spoke.

Kuai Lang:" Yeah, it is..."

Hanzo:" Kuai, is something wrong?"

Kuai Lang sighed before he spoke.

Kuai Lang:" I'm worried about Kōri Hanzo."

Hanzo:" Hey, don't worry, we will find her."

Kuai Lang:" No, I do not doubt that we will find her; however, I knew someone with abilities like this, and honestly, it scares me a little bit."

Hanzo:" How so, Kaui?"

Kuai Lang:" She is growing up, and she's becoming stronger than I had ever thought possible, and with abilities like these, it only makes her more of a target."

Hanzo:" I see; you're not afraid of Kōri, but you're scared of her being a target."

Kuai Lang nodded as Hanzo spoke.

Hanzo:" Come on, let's go."

Kuai Lang sighed as the two grandmasters walked forward, leaving footprints in the snow as, after thirty-two minutes, they looked to see something in the distance.
