Comforting Kitana

Y/n P.O.V~

I groaned as I got off my back and slightly struggled to get up from the pain in my back. As I got up off of the ground, I wobbled slightly as I made my way around the capital of outworld, asking around about where I could find Mileena, Jade, and or Kitana kahn anywhere. Still, no one gave me any answer; most of them told me to fuck off, while the other ones just said quote "You earthrelmers aren't worthy of seeing the Kahn's." I don't know how that could tell that I was from Earthrealm, and honestly, I didn't feel like learning. After a couple of hours of asking around, not getting any answers, and getting nowhere, I decided to sit in an alleyway for a bit to think. As I sit in the alleyway, I heard a voice call out to me.

Jade:" Y/n is that you?"

I looked up to see Jade standing in the street holding a bag full of items as I spoke.

Y/n:" Yeah, it's me."

Jade:" Well, what are you doing here? Did something happen?"

Y/n:" Um, not really, but I would like to talk about the council of Kahn's about something."

Jade:" Well, why didn't you just come to the palace?"

Y/n:" Well, I tried to get directions, but no one would help me."

Jade:" Well, I mean, this is the part of town where most of the assholes live."

Y/n:" I see."

Jade extended her hand to me as she spoke.

Jade:" Come with me; I'll take you to the palace."

I took Jade's hand as she led me to the place.

Jade:" So what would you like to talk to the council about?"

Y/n:" Well, I would rather wait for intel. I could speak to the council before reliving my request."

Jade:" Okay, but that could be a while; let's just say Kitana hasn't been the best emotionally recently."

Y/n:" How so?"

Jade:" Liu Kang broke up with Kitana."

Y/n:" Why would he do that? I thought they were fine."

Jade:" Well, they were, but he kept brushing off Kitana for martial arts more and more until she 

had enough of it and gave him an ultimatum, she said quote "Martial art's or me." and Liu Kang chose martial art's over her."

Y/n:" Wow, that sucks."

Jade:" I know, and I haven't been able to get Kitana to talk about it."

Y/n:" Well, it's still pretty fresh so maybe give her some time to herself before talking to her about it."

Jade and I entered the palace, and as we walked, I heard a voice call out to me.

Mileena:" Y/n is that you?"

I turned to see Mileena and smiled under my mask before hugging my friend as she spoke.

Mileena:" What are you doing it outworld?"

Y/n:" I'm here to ask the council about something."

Mileena:" I see; I assume Jade told you about the Kitana situation."

Y/n:" Yeah."

Jade:" Mileena, would you please show Y/n to one of the guest rooms."

Mileena:" Of course."

Mileena grabbed my hand and began to pull me towards the guest rooms. After two minutes of dragging me, Mileena opened the door to a large room.
