Y/n P.O.V~

The sun leaked through the windows off Kōri's apartment and beamed down onto me, waking me up. I opened my eyes and yawned before sitting up seeing both Kōri and Tifa still sleeping soundly beside me. I smiled and was about to get out of bed, but I was quickly pulled back in bed by the two girls as Kōri spoke, still half-asleep.

Kōri:" Y/n~ stay~."

I sighed and smiled before going back to sleep for a little bit. After that, Kōri, Tifa, and I got some breakfast before I walked Tifa back to her apartment and began my walk home. As I walked to my home and entered the Shirai-Ryu compound, I looked to see Camilla inside the Wyvern barns tending to Fang, feeding the wyvern a large hunk of meat. As Camilla finished feeding the large reptile, she turned around, saw me, and smiled, quickly walking over to me.

Camilla:" Y/n, darling!"

I smiled and quickly jogged up towards my wife. The two of us embraced in a hug before she kissed me on the cheek.   Camilla looked into my eyes as she spoke.

Camilla:" So dear, how did the date go?"

Y/n:" It went well I ended up spending the night at Kōri's place."

Camilla blushed as she leaned close to my ear and spoke.

Camilla:" So how was the sex~?"

I blushed as I struggled to speak, not expecting that kind of question.

Y/n:" W-Well eh-it."

Camilla chuckled before pulling her husband close while speaking.

Camilla:" Oh relax, darling~ I'm only joking."

I sighed and looked at my wife before speaking.

Y/n:" So how were you and Kana's quiet night."

Camilla:" It was good, but I'm afraid it was anything but quiet."

Y/n:" Really? How so?"

Camilla grabbed my upper arm and pulled me along with her; as we walked towards our home and entered it, Camilla took me to the kitchen. I looked on the countertop to see that there was some fire damage.

Camilla:" Kana had a little temper tantrum last night, and she used fire, like you."

I was astounded, to say the least, I mean, there was always a good chance that Kana would be able to use fire, but I just didn't expect it to happen this soon.

Camilla:" Listen, Y/n, I know this is a tough ask right now, especially with Yuri showing up, but could you train her?"

I gulped as my hands shook, and I spoke.

Y/n:" I-eh-I'll think about it..."

Camilla:" Thanks, dear."

Camilla kissed my cheek before she walked off to go wake, Kana. I sighed as I looked down at my hands, thinking about what I should do next.

*Two-day time skip*

I sighed as I walked through the compound, looking around before entering my father's home and seeing my father sitting at a table drinking some tea as he spoke.

Hanzo:" Y/n, good to see you; what can I do for you?"

I smiled as I sat down on next to my father as I spoke.

Y/n:" Father, can I ask a favor of you?"

Hanzo smiled before he spoke.

Hanzo:" Of course, son. What is it?"

Y/n:" Kana used fire last night, and I wondered if you could train her to use it. Like you did for Haru."

Hanzo:" Of course, I can, but she is your daughter son. I figured you would want to do that yourself."

I looked down, my katana in my hand as I spoke.

Y/n:" I do want to, but I'm not fit to be a teacher."

Hanzo:" I'm sure that's not true. I think you would be a fine teacher."

Y/n:" Father, the last time I trained someone, I didn't end very well."

Hanzo:" How so, son?"

I sighed as I spoke.

Y/n:" Yuri, the man who attacked me was my first apprentice. I trained him back during the war."

Hanzo:" But he was able to beat you isn't a teacher's best moment when their students finally surpass them?"

Y/n:" Well yeah, I'm proud of how strong he's gotten, but it's what he's using that strength for I'm worried about."

Hanzo:" But how is that your fault?"

Y/n:" Because in some way, I agree with what he's doing."

Hanzo's eyes widened as he spoke.

Hanzo:" How so do you agree with what's he's doing?"

Y/n:" Yuri says he wants to reset the universe, into one with no crime, no war, no evil, a new world, a good one, one where mom never died."

Hanzo's eyes softened as he spoke.

Hanzo:"  I see, so you want a world like this?"

Y/n:" Well yeah, I wish the perfect world, but he's also erasing all the good people have done, and he's taking away all the people who have done wrong chance to grow as people and become better."

Hanzo sighed as he put his hand on his son's shoulder while speaking.

Hanzo:" Son, it's not wrong to want a world like this, but just because you had one lousy student doesn't mean you're a bad teacher. Look, I think you should teach Kana yourself, giving you a chance to redeem yourself with your daughter, but if you want to, I will teach her."

I sighed as I left my father's home and went back to mine and entered it, seeing Kana sitting at the kitchen table, looking down at her hands as she spoke.

Kana:" I'm sorry for almost starting a fire last night."

I smiled, sitting next to my daughter, warping my right arm around her while speaking.

Y/n:" That's okay, Kana; I'll start training you to use your flames tomorrow."

Kana looked up at me and smiled as she spoke.

Kana:" Really?"

I nodded, making Kana's smile grow even more as we hugged. I sighed as I hugged my daughter thinking about what my father had said; he's right. This is my chance for redemption.
