Third-person P.O.V~

A little boy screamed out in pain as he was knocked to the ground, the dust that was kicked up into the boy's H/c hair. The boy looked up, fear swirling in his E/c eyes as a voice screamed.

???:" Get up!"

The boy struggled to get up as he spoke.

???2:" H-Haru p-please stop."

Haru slammed his wooden practice katana onto the boy's back.

Haru:" Shut up, Y/n; you don't get to talk!"

Tears leaked out of Y/n's eyes as he tried to speak.

Y/n:" B-brother p-please."

Haru slapped Y/n across the face as he shouted out.

Haru:" Shut up, your no brother of mine!"

Haru began repeatedly smashing down on the younger boy as he screamed out.

Haru:" Brothers don't kill their mother! I wish I could trade your life for hers! Give me her back! Give me back my mother!"

*Flashback end*

Haru's head shot up from in between his hands as he heard his name being called.

Cassie:" Haru, it's time."

Haru saw Cassie in a black dress as he stood up and took Cassie's hand, and walked with her exiting his bedroom. Cassie and Haru held hands as they walked to the gathering of people in the Shirai-Ryu fire gardens; Haru sighed sadly as he saw the massive assembly of people sitting in foldable metal chairs in front of a little table. Haru sat next to his father, looking down at his hands, his dark hair covering his eyes. The ceremony started as the Haru got out of his seat, removed a katana from the alter, and unsalted it before walking a couple of feet before stabbing the sword into the ground. This was the first part of the funeral; a Shirai-Ryu clan member's grave was marked with their weapon of choice being stabbed into the ground where they would be buried. Haru returned to his seat as Hanzo got out of his seat, walked to the table, and cleared his through. Hanzo reached into one of his suit pockets and looked at the eulogy he had written for his son. Hanzo gulped as he struggled to speak.

Hanzo:" Y-Y/n Hasashi was my s-so-."

Hanzo's hands shook as tears leaked out, his eyes dripping onto the parchment paper as he spoke while shaking.

Hanzo:" I-I'm sorry I can't do this."

Haru quickly consoled Hanzo as he collapsed back in his chair, and he put his hands over his face to hopefully mask the tears that were pouring out of his eyes. Haru ended up reading the rest of the eulogy, and after the ceremony was finished, the gathering of people entered the Shirai-Ryu housing and entered a room. Groups of people began to talk with one another quietly. Tifa looked to see Kōri sitting by herself, looking down her hands as Tifa sat next to Kōri and spoke.

Tifa:" Hey, Kōri?"

Kōri looked up at Tifa, her blue eyes filled with tears leaking down her face.

Tifa:" Do you need a hug?"

Kōri nodded as she wrapped her arms around Tifa as the two girls cried, and both girls needing someone to be there for them in this hard time. Hanzosat was outside looking down at his trembling hands as he heard a voice.

Raiden:" Hanzo-"

Before the thunder god could even finish speaking, Hanzo's hellfire ignited around his hands as

he lunged forward and punched Raiden in the face.

Hanzo:" You dare to show up here!"

As Raiden stood up, Hanzo sent him flying again with a punch as he shouted.

Hanzo:" This is your fault! If you had just left Y/n alone, he wouldn't have died!"

Flames consumed Hanzo's heard only leaving a skull with glowing red eyes as he spoke.

Hanzo:" Get up, Raiden. I'm not done ripping the wings off this butterfly yet."

Hanzo approached Raiden before a hand touched his shoulder, making him look back to see Haru as he spoke.

Haru:" Dad, don't do this Y/n wouldn't want this."

Hanzo sighed before looking at the bloodied thunder god before his flames vanished, his face going back to normal as he walked off muttering to himself.

Hanzo:" First, Harumi and Satoshi, then I lost Kioko and now Y/n..."

Hanzo's fists shook with anger as he spoke.

Hanzo:" Am I destined to lose everyone close to me?"

Kōri sat outside looking down at Y/n's rope spear, the one thing that she had left of him. Kōri heard the sound of footsteps as she spoke.

Kōri:" Who's there."

Esdeath:" Relax, dear, it's just me."

Kōri growled as he looked at her mother getting out of the wooden rocking chair she was in as she spoke.

Kōri:" What the hell are you doing here."

Esdeath smiled as she looked at her daughter and spoke.

Esdeath:" I have a proposition for you."

Kōri raised her eyebrow as she spoke.

Kōri:" And what would that be?"

Esdeath smiled as she held out the palm of her left and formed a snake out of ice; the snake wrapped and constricted itself around Esdeth's arm as she spoke.

Esdeath:" I can teach you to control living creations, and even the power's Kaui don't have, live to create arctic storms, freezing people's blood, teleporting through the ice, stopping time, and even more."

Esdeath held out her right hand as she spoke.

Esdeath:" I can help you get stronger, strong enough so you can protect everyone so that what happens to Y/n doesn't happen to anyone else."

Kōri looked down at the rope spear wrapped around her arm as she quickly thought about the offer and spoke.

Kōri:" Very well, I'll do it."

Esdeath smiled as they met a couple of minutes later; when Kōri had packed her stuff and left a note, the mother and daughter duo began to walk into the night as the moonlight beamed down on them Kōri promised herself that she would be stronger to protect everyone.
