Chapter 36

Xander POV

"Xander what have you done" Nicole gasped. She quickly ran up to me, more like wobbled and took the gun and threw it on the floor.

"Call an ambulance! His bleeding! He won't stop bleeding!" Nia panicked while trying to stop the bleeding from his chest. I just stood there,numb.

What have I done.

"Hayden get your car! An ambulance will take too long!" the blond girl shouted, but Hayden did not move, he was just frozen. "Why are you just standing there! Our brother has just been shot! Go and get your fucking car you bloody asshole!" The blonde shouted while tears were running down her face. She was also kneeling next to Kieran, trying to help stop the bleeding with her jacket.

Hayden finally ran outside and got his car ready. "Leni! London! Don't just stand there come and carry him." The blonde girl is starting to scare me now.

Leni and London ran to pick up Kieran and started walking outside, Nia followed. "Nia!" I called out and she turned around. "I'm sorry"

She looked angry at me. "I don't want to talk to your right now. Don't expect to See me at home tonight" she said and ran after the others.

"You!" The blonde girl pointed her finger at me. I felt a sting on my cheek and I realized that she had just slapped me, leaving me surprised. "You are so lucky that you are Nia's uncle or else I would have taken your gun and killed you a long time ago. Never! ever! Come back here again"

"Layla I apologize on his behalf" Nicole said sincerely.

"I will not hold anything against you, but tell your asshole of a husband or fiancé to never set foot in this house again" Layla spat.

She walked towards the door but stopped at the exit. "If Kieran dies just know that your days are numbered" she said calmly then left.

Nia's POV

"Kieran open your eyes" I gently beat his cheeks to keep him awake. My voice was trembling, my hands were shaking so much and full of blood. his chest was bleeding on the left side and thats were the heart is located. His head was laying on my lap.

"Nia I'm sorry for betraying you" he said groggily.

"No! No! If you die I will never forgive you. Do you hear me!" We were two minutes away From the hospital. "Hayden drive faster. He is losing consciousness."

"We are almost there! Layla call mom and dad" Hayden instructed. Layla quickly took out her phone with her trembling hands and dialed her parents number.

"We are here" Hayden announced. We all exited the car and Hayden went to call for help. Leni, London, Isa and Abby arrived seconds later with their own car.

The nurses put Kieran on a stretcher and started pushing him inside the hospital. All of us ran after them but they stopped us at a certain point, telling us that we couldn't enter the room.

2 hours later

Isa and Abby are sitting at the chairs, comforting each other. London and Layla were also sitting on the chairs, comforting each other. Leni was at his own corner, in his own thoughts. Hayden was sitting on a chair with his elbows resting on his kness, and his head rested on his hands. While I was busy walking back and fourth.

"Where is he? Is he okay" Mrs Thompson came after she has approached us. She was with Olivia, Kevin and Mr Thompson. Mrs Thompson looked like she was crying. Everyone looked up once they heard her voice.

"We are still waiting for the doctors to inform us. He has been in surgery for the last two hours" Hayden answered.

"Who shot him?" Mr Thompson asked. Everyone turned to look at me and I sighed before answering.

"It was Xander, my uncle"

Mr Thompson's jaw clenched and unclenched. "Your uncle has a problem. This isn't the first time he has done something stupid. Last time he accused Kieran of rapping you, now he shot him. Why?"

Before I could answer him the doctor came out of the surgery and everyone stood up. "Doctor is my son okay?" Mrs Thompson was the first to ask. The doctor looked sad.

"I'm sorry but we couldn't save him. The bullet grazed his heart and he bled to death after we removed the bullet." The doctor kept on talking but all the words his said were blured out. I fell to the ground with my knees and busted out into tears. Hayden came to embrace me.

I looked around me and I saw Layla shouting at the doctor but I couldn't hear what she was saying. Mrs Thompson was crying in Mr Thompson's Arms. London was massaging his temples. Abby and Isa were crying in each others arms. Leni was facing a wall and his hands were on his head. And Olivia was crying in Kevin's arms.

Olivia's POV

I removed myself my Kevin's embrace and faced the doctor. "I want to see him."

"I'm sorry but-"

"I will not repeat myself" I warned him and he nodded his head. He lead me to the room and I saw Kieran lying on the table, his body connected to tubes and his mouth was covered by a gas mask. The machines were turned off and that made the room silent. His chest area was covered with a white sheet. The nurses and doctor left to give me some privacy.

I held his hand and looked at him. "Kieran I'm sorry. I'm sorry I blamed you for something that was not your fault.  I was just angry and and-" I couldn't finish my sentence because I started sobbing uncontrollably.

"Kieran you have to wake up. If you wake up I will believe in God and miracles again. If you wake up I will forgive you."

"We still have to spend more time together. You can call me liv again, I won't mind. You can ruffle my hair again even though I hate it. If you don't wake up I won't forgive you, do you hear me Kieran. You have to wake up please."

Kevin entered the room and held Kieran's other hand. "Hey bro, you can't leave us yet. I still haven't gotten the chance to drive your car yet. I still have to tell you about how the lady at the orphanage would always blame me for things that were not even my fault. I still have to tell you about that Taylor kid that gave me problems even though I was older than him."

"I still haven't had my first kiss yet. I haven't gotten a girlfriend yet. I'm still a virgin for Christ sake. I need you to give me your cheap advice on how to get girls. I still need you to give me advice on how to have sex even though you suck in bed." A chuckle escaped my lips.

"Okay I will stop insulting you if you wake. I promise I won't insult you again, but on a serious note tho I do look more handsome than you." A sob escaped his lips.

"Kieran if you don't fucking wake up I will tell Nia your second name. In fact I'll tell everyone."

I decided to kill Kieran because a friend of mine believed that I wouldn't kill him. So blame my friend for the death of Kieran. Few chapters left guys.

I'm not even sure that they allow people in the surgery after ones death but hey, there's a first time for everything.
