plot. l/n y/n is the author and artist of a famous highschool romance webcomic. even though everything she writes is purely fictional, there is one character whom she based off from in her daily life.

"a moment of our spring" is a romance comic set in a highschool setting that makes you feel refreshed and giddy after you read the whole comic.
it is your typical story about two strangers turned into friends, and eventually to lovers. their everyday interactions related to school activities and such more blossomed into romance without delay.
the story may be something lacking drama and the plot may be something simple. although, the wholesomeness of each interaction of the main leads was something that kept the readers reading.
the comic's popularity quickly skyrocketed with it being uploaded to one of the largest webcomic applications in the world, and was also due to the fact that it was also uploaded to reading sites that provided services to read "a moment of our spring" for free.
however with all the noise the comic was creating, the author seemed to keep herself out of the spotlight and remained anonymous for every interview and wouldn't attend any gathering she was invited to.
the reason was rather something, simple.
the author, and also the artist of the comic, l/n y/n, hated the comic she made with her blood, sweat and tears, so much that she refused to even claim that it was hers.
she hated the fact that she made someone charming, perfect and amazing like kang jungwoo, one of the fictional main characters of "a moment of our spring", the second male lead.
she realized this after uploading atleast ten chapters of her comic online, with readers already rooting for the male main lead.
she tried to hint that she wanted to change male leads by making more heart fluttering scenes with jungwoo and the female lead.
but, y/n didn't expect the outcome as the readers started commenting things such as :
"poor jungwoo.. he'll probably get rejected :(("
"kang jungwoo i know you're really handsome and all but pls back off our main couple"
"team doyoung ftw"
"the second lead syndrome is now in action everyone!!!!"
in short, it didn't work.
and so to satisfy the reader's enjoyment and likings, the plan of making doyoung the endgame was continued on.
but, with jungwoo still being y/n's favorite character, she went on with creating more scenes with the female lead.
