A/N. belated happy 2nd anniv treasure! + the order of the chapters is still broken :( it bothers me that the treasure as kdrama characs chapter is bugged to be the latest ch now while the actual newer chapters wouldn't show as the latest chapters anymore if that makes any sense hahaha

today it was a big smiley face drawn with pink ink.
a clumsily written 'you can do it!' was next to the emoticon. she picked up the sticky note that fluttered off her hand when she stretched her arm upwards to take a yawn. the tips of her lips creased up to a smile. the handwriting was always barely intelligible. the letters were written fuzzily either intentionally with their non-dominant hand, or they just really had childish penmanship.
the eyes of the smiley face were drawn with two arched lines that stretched into an eye smile. there were also two-dimensional sparkles near them, a detail that made her chuckle.
yesterday it was a quite failed attempt of a thumbs up with sparkles surrounding the drawing. it took her a while to register that what she had originally thought were random blobs was actually a hand folded into a thumbs up.
sometimes it was short yet sweet messages that encouraged and reminded her to not forget to look after herself. she found it creepy the first time around. but as long as it was harmless and there were no other creepy, stalker-ish activities to take note off, it was fine. plus, the messages made her day feel less bad at times.
she slapped both sides of her face with her palms to wake her up.
i can do this, she chanted mentally and focused back on her pile of books left waiting to be studied.

she halted from walking, regretting every life choice she made. her mind spouted mental curses. she shouldn't have taken the faculty shortcut. the voice of her homeroom teacher calling her from behind was enough horror as it is. the familiar phrase gives her an inkling that it was either a bad mark or a favor.
