fall out of love || junkyu

— plot ; after chasing him for a long time, y/n gives up in liking junkyu.

"to her, he was the galaxy,

but to him, she was just a star that's a part of the billion of other stars,"

it was always the same scene everyday.

"junkyu! let me help you carry-"

"i have my own hands,"

y/n would chase him endlessly,

"i cooked you your favorite foods! please take it,"

"sorry. i'm already full,"

"oh, i see. that's alright! i'll make you food again next time!"

but he would ignore her everytime, leaving her all alone.

his friends who pity her would approach her and ask, "hey, why do you like him so much?" she would give them a small smile and say, "i don't think i need a valid reason on why i should like someone. if i like junkyu, i like him. if he doesn't like me back, then that's alright,"

she would be lying if she said she wasn't hirt by the continuous rejection she keeps on receiving. she would fake a smile everytime he would ignore her while saying the words "it's okay," over and over again with a cheerful tone to hide the pain.

although, she continued. even if it hurted, she wanted to like him. she wanted to continue supporting him even if she was far from his side. 

but feelings grow and change and she soon found herself slowly falling out of love with her first love. 

"do you want to eat together?"

"no, thanks,"

"okay,"

she was disappointed at first in herself for giving up. she tried to go back to her old, clingy self but she just couldn't. the old feelings she had for him are slowly fading.

"you left your book,"

"thanks," she nodded silently after handing him his book and walked away without giving him another glance. junkyu watched her walk away with a blank expression before walking away in the opposite direction.
