plot ; junghwan prefers to be alone by himself but the new transferee decided to glue herself beside him.

warning ; slight cursing

y/n widely smiled at everybody with her eyes almost smiling as well. "hi! my name's y/n and i hope to get along with you all!" she cheerfully greeted.

she was immediately warmly greeted by her classmates as they greeted her by smiling back to the cheerful y/n.

although, y/n's bright smile dropped when she saw a boy at the back, sitting all alone, and was looking at the window that shows the school's gymnasium with a blank expression.

"y/n, you can sit next to eunbi over there," her teacher interrupted her thoughts and gestured at a female student who was giving her a sweet smile.

y/n nodded and approached the empty table next to eunbi, sneakily glancing at the guy.

"hi i'm eunbi!" eunbi greeted with a cute grin on her lips. "i'm y/n. can i ask what's that guy's name?" she lowly pointed at junghwan, who was now straightly listening to the teacher's lecture.

she heard eunbi chuckled with her sudden quedtion, "that's so junghwan. if you want to befriend him, i'll be telling you first, don't," y/n raised her eyebrow.

"why not?" she curiously whispered after their teacher caught them talking to each other. "he doesn't want to be bothered at all," eunbi emphasized. y/n unconsciously smiled at her words making eunbi confused, "why are you smiling?" y/n looked at her weirdly.

"what do you mean?" eunbi's mouth formed into an "o" and her lips rose up to a teasing smile. "first day, new crush already?" y/n shook her head and chuckled. "no, no, you're misunderstanding me," she laughed softly.

eunbi rolled her eyes, "yeah right, i'm sorry i 'misunderstood' you," she said sarcastically. "but if you do like junghwan, then good luck to you," she leaned in over her shoulder to whisper. y/n tilted her head, "and why?"

"he ignores everyone," y/n smirked and her eyes landed again on junghwan diligently taking notes. 

her smirk grew larger twirlisje twirl her hair with her index finger, "interesting,"

junghwan munched his ham and cheese sandwich slowly as music fill both of his ears through his earphones.

y/n brushed her hair back and crossed her arms on her chest when she saw junghwan eating his lunch alone.

he furrowed his eyebrows when one  of his earphone bud was snatched from his ear.

he faced to his right side and saw the new transferee looking at him with a huge smile. he snatched the earphone bud back quickly from her ear and immediately looked away.

he also scooted back away from her to keep distance. y/n chuckled turned her back from the railings and sat back, checking him out.

"don't be shy, i don't bite," he ignored her and took the last bite of the sandwich and turned around to leave.

y/n scoffed when she saw him leave, "attempt 1 failed, attempt 2 unlocked,"

"oh my fucking god," junghwan held his heart and closed his eyes when somebody suddenly surprised him from behind.

"the first words i heard from you is 'oh my fucking god' and that's fucking amazing!" she clapped her hands excitedly.

junghwan rolled his eyes irritatedly and adjusted his loosen backpack. he walked past her and continued walking his way home.

it was a week since she joined their class and she has been 'annoying' him ever since then.

y/n frowned when he walked away, "hey, wait for me!" she ran to keep up with him. junghwan sighed and walked fastly in order for her to not catch up.

y/n ran faster to catch up his speed and stood right in front of him startling him again. "can you please stop scaring and annoying me?" he loudly said with his hand massaging his heart.

y/n looked down and bit her lip, "are you that annoyed at me? okay i'll stop, i'm sorry for causing you trouble," her voice was quiet. she started walking away from him with her head down.

junghwan immediately felt a wave of guilt hit him and he deeply exhaled. "i better not regret this," he muttered under his breath.

"no you're not annoying me. don't be sad," he whispered the last sentence but it was still audible for y/n. she stopped walking and smirked before twisting her body around to face him.

"i didn't hear the last part clearly though," he raised his eyebrow. "i didn't say anything," he denied.

y/n walked forward to where he was standing and stood in front of him, "don't worry i wasn't sad," she looked at his eyes but he avoided her eye contact.

"can i go home now?" he asked, still avoiding her piercing eyes. she fakely pouted, "i guess i'll go home by myself then," she nodded and was about to turn her back from him again when he swiftly caught her arm.

"no, don't feel sorry for me. i understand," she smiled a little bit. he remove his hand on her arm, "you don't want to, walk you home?" he mustered his courage to ask.

"of course i'd love to," she sweetly smiled and was about to stand next to him but he stepped backward.

"you're walking in front, i'll be in the back," y/n scratched her head but nodded slowly at his request.

she cutely grinned with her teeth showing, "atleast we're together!" she cheerfully said and started to walk, her feet slightly hopping with every step.

junghwan let out a soft chuckle as he wath her from behind, "she's adorable," he whispered with a smile forming on his lips.
