Miraculous Survivor

Day 1 - Meet the players

We are about to embark on one of the greatest social experiments of all time. These castaways are about to spend the next 2 months stranded on an island, left to fend for themselves. In order to survive, they'll have to withstand the environment, the food, extreme temperature conditions and ultimately, each other. A ship is sailing on the ocean. On the top deck, the contestants stand.

Confessionals:

"My name is Aurore, I'm a weather forecaster for the KIDZ+ broadcasting program and I'm here to claim Sole Survivor. When you play, you play to win and that's exactly what I intend to do. As a weather forecaster, it's my job to read the environment and determine what precautions need to be taken. The game of Survivor, much like the weather, will be constantly changing, so you need to be able to adapt at a moment's notice, which is what I've trained for. I'm also skilled at remaining hidden when needed and lurking in the shadows. These people will never see me coming."

"I'm Kim and I'm the most athletic guy you'll ever see. The game of Survivor is very fast-paced, so you need to be equally fast otherwise you get left behind. I can easily keep up with anything this game throws at us."

"My name is Kagami, I'm a professional fencer as well as a hobby in archery and ice skating. I'm highly intelligent and that, plus my skill in agility, is what's going to carry me through this game. In fencing, you need to be light, but also swift, so I plan to be light enough to move with the game, but also fast enough to react to unwelcome change."

"My name is Ivan and I'm here to bulldoze the competition, so to speak. I expect my size will intimidate the other players, so my game will be physically dominant. I'm also protective of my friends, so if anyone comes after my friends, I'll be coming after them."

"My name is Nora, I'm a professional kickboxer and I intend to use those skills to great use. When I enter the ring, I'm in the zone. First thing you do is size up your opponent and assess their strengths and weaknesses. This is no different. I've had a good look at my competition and they have nothing on me. It's game on. My strength is going to carry me right to the finish line."

"Hi, my name is Alix and I'm here to prove that girls aren't divided into stereotypes. I'm a real life tomboy who isn't afraid to stand up for what's right. I'm tough, self-confident and a bit stubborn and reckless when called for. I'm a supportive team player and there isn't much that I'm unwilling to do to get my team to the next level."

"I'm Sabrina, I'm a public servant and I'm here to give goodwill and receive it in return. I intend to play as honourable as possible and always help out when needed, especially my BFF Chloe. If we can get to the end together, that would be amazing."

"My name is Max, I work in robotics and I'm here to outwit, outplay and ultimately outlast everyone else. When you work with robots and other programming jobs, you need to be able to anticipate and work around every possible scenario. Even sitting in the boat, I'm already anticipating what these other players are going to do and I can plan around that, allowing me to simple weave my way to victory."

"If you don't know me, I'd like to know what kind of rock have you been living under. I'm Chloe Bourgeois, daughter to the mayor and I'm the only true mayoress on this island. I pay close attention to daddy during his elections so I know exactly how to deal with situations in politics. The others here are about to get a first-hand lesson."

"My name is Felix and I'm here to claim my rightful title. There's no honour in this game. I'm a snake. I'll be more than happy to do whatever it takes to bamboozle these others into doing what I want. They're about to get a lesson in how the game is played."

"I am Prince Ali from the Kingdom of Achu, but I'm not expecting my royal title to provide any form of special treatment. However, I do occasionally have to deal with political gravity throughout the kingdom, so I'm not unfamiliar with any turmoil that might arise. Don't get me wrong, I'll be playing hard. But I'm not going to let that change who I am."

"My name is Rose, I'm a singer and here to share my cheerful nature. I always try to see the best in people and situation, which will provide our team with unity and, through that, strength to compete. Go team!"

"I'm Alya, I'm a professional blogger and I'm ready to give you the latest scoop on how to play this game. As a blogger, you need to be quick to jump onto the action when it starts, otherwise you have nothing for your blog, so if something strange starts happen, you can bet I'll  be one of the first to notice."

"My name is Jalil, I'm an archaeologist who takes pride in the translation of hieroglyphs and other various codes and cyphers. Facial expressions are a special sort of encryption, so with a little adaption, I should be able to read these faces like papyrus scrolls."

"I'm Ondine, I'm a champion swimmer in line for the 2024 Olympic games and I'm ready to dissolve the competition. I'm in an ideal position to dominate any water-based scenario and aid my team through the waves."

"Hey there, my name is Wayhem and I'm ready to take a step into the celebrity circle. I'm stoked just to be here and meet Adrien. Now that I've arrived, I'm going to throw everything I have at this game. Let the cards fall as they may, I'm ready for it."

"My name is Mireille, I'm a weather forecaster for the KIDZ+ network and I'm ready to claim the title of Sole Survivor. As a weather forecaster, I'm well accustomed to assessing the nearby environment and determining if a storm's about to hit the local area. Survivor is no different. I'll be forecasting the game and planning accordingly and that's how I'm going to win."

"Hi, I'm Mylene and to be honest, this type of experience is new to me. I don't normally travel outside my comfort zone, so I don't really know what's going to be in store. But as long as I'm here, I have an opportunity for personal growth, so I'm going to take this chance by the reigns and see where it takes me."

"I'm Nathaniel, I'm an artist and I'm ready to play the best game I possibly can. As an artist, I look at something and try to imagine what it could be. That's what I'll be doing here. I think that my creativity will give me an edge on puzzles when you've got to put the pieces together because I will be able to see the end result and what the puzzle is supposed to look like."

Survivor is all about politics and navigating people, which I'm an expert in. I'm willing to deceive left, right and centre to get what I want. This is going to be child's play."

"My name is Adrien, I'm a fashion model and voice actor and I'm here to show this game can be played with honesty and integrity. I spend a lot of my free time playing various games, so I'm more than familiar with how to maneuver my opponents and take the upper hand."

"I'm Marinette, I'm a baker, fashion designer and part-time babysitter. I have a tendency to think outside the box, creating somewhat left field plans to outsmart whichever people I may be up against. I think my resourcefulness will come in really handy throughout my time in this game."

"Um, hi, I'm Juleka, I like art and I'm here to play Survivor. I like it when things get scary and I'm not afraid to stare danger in the face."

"Hi, I'm Zoe, I'm an actress, so I'm more than familiar with the need to put on a mask at a moment's notice. I can behave one way with a certain person and a whole different way with someone else. I can bluff my way through social scenarios and that's what I'll be doing to win this game."
