Day 10 - Blue Camp

The blue team members arrive at camp, which now has a pitched roof and an extension, keeping the fire dry from all the rain.

Felix: "Sorry, I let you down today."

Zoe: "Don't worry about it, everyone has an off day."

Felix: "Thanks."

Wayhem: "After all, is a reward really that important?"

Kagami: "Not overly important, but it is nice to be in the habit of winning these challenges."

Ondine: "I'm going for a swim."

Aurore: "In this weather?"

Ondine: "It's not like we're going to dry any time soon."

Felix: "Fair enough."

Ondine: "Anyway, if anyone wants to join, you're welcome to."

Ondine moves towards the shore, followed by Kagami, Max and Zoe.

Aurore: "I forecast they're going to catch a cold."

Mireille: "Don't know about you, but I'll stay by the fire where we will be dry... and warm."

Felix: "Yes, I'll second that."

Aurore: (confessional) "We started out this game dominating these challenges, a pattern which has been going downhill recently. If we want to bring this up again, we can't be making dumb decisions like that that will put us under the weather."

In the ocean.

Ondine: "I'm thinking we'll need to be prepared in case today's result happens tomorrow as well. Any ideas?"

Kagami: "The miraculous I've got gives us a bit of leverage. I'd like to keep it in reserve if possible, so we need to find a way to break them up. Max, what's your take?"

Max: "If we can break them up, we should be fine."

Zoe: "Unfortunately, I don't think they're likely to break up any time soon."

Ondine: "What do you mean?"

Zoe: "There were 2 pairs, namely Aurore and Mireille, Felix and Wayhem. When Felix played his miraculous for Mireille, that solidified the pairs into a unit."

Kagami: "Then we appear to be at an impasse."

Ondine: "What about your miraculous?"

Kagami: "Felix has been to that island twice, which means it's possible he has another one."

Zoe: "So, unless we can find another one as well, we're at an impasse."

Kagami: "That would mean winning another reward, which from the sounds of it, someone doesn't want us doing."

Zoe: "And there lies the problem."

Max's eyes light up.

Max: "We don't need a miraculous."

Ondine: Puzzled. "Yeah, we do. Unless you can find a way to separate the 4 of them."

Max: "No, we don't." Chuckles. "We don't. We just need the illusion that we have one. Zoe, how are you at arts & crafts?"

Zoe: "I'd say I'm pretty good. Why?"

Max: "We have work to do."

They return to shore.

Felix: "Kagami, could I chat with you real quick?"

Kagami: "Sure." To Max, Ondine and Zoe. "I'll catch up with you later."

Felix and Kagami move towards a gathering of trees.

Felix: (confessional; Cat Miraculous) "As it currently stands, alliances are locked at 4 apiece and Kagami and I both have a miraculous, so it seems that we are currently at a stand off. If I am to carry on dominating this tribe, I'm going to need to get Kagami on my side. A bit of a gamble, but the reward is definitely worth the risk."

Kagami: "What do you want?"

Felix: "I'm going to dispense with the unpleasantries and get straight to the point. I know what you've got. More importantly, I know that you know what I've got. And I think you know what I'm talking about."

Kagami: Deadpan stare. "Let's pretend I don't."

Felix: "Look, we could circle each other with miraculouses in hand, sleep with one eye open, but I don't think that'll help either of us."

Kagami: "What do you propose?"

Felix: "I think there might be a possibility of us working together."

Kagami: "Is that so? And vote out who, exactly?"

Felix: "Well, who do you have in mind?"

Kagami: "I voted for Mireille last time because I thought she was unproductive and that hasn't changed very much."

Felix: "I see."

Kagami: "Why did you vote out Kim?"

Felix: "He seemed to be causing a division in the tribe, a sort of 'us vs them' mentality. I was hoping that in removing him, we could become more unified."

Kagami: "Do you think it's worked?"

Felix: "To be brutally honest, yes."

Kagami: (confessional; Ladybug Miraculous) "If Felix is telling the truth and that is what he was basing his vote on, then he's just shown himself to be extremely volatile. What does 'causing division' look like in Felix's eyes? Whatever Max is planning, it'd better work."

Max, Ondine and Zoe, further inland, where Max is searching through small pebbles and collecting various berries.

Ondine: "So, what's this plan of yours?"

Max: "We're going to create a copy of a miraculous."

Zoe: "How do you intend to do that?"

Max: "A pair of small round pebbles to serve as our little artifacts and berries to serve as paint, which is where your arts & crafts skill comes in."

Zoe: "I'll also need something to serve as sandpaper."

Max: "We can find some other rocks."

Ondine: "Will that work?"

Max: "Abrasive rocks can smoothen a surface, so yes."

Ondine: "No, making a miraculous."

Zoe: "Probably not in the sense that we saw last time."

Max: "No, that would be too easy. The idea is to make them think we have one." To Zoe. "How long do you think it'll take?"

Zoe: "I can't do the paint while it's raining."

Max: "Fair enough."

Zoe hides the supplies under a bush and she, Ondine and Max rejoin the shelter.

Max: (confessional) "If I didn't know better, I'd think Felix threw today's reward. If he's trying to sabotage this tribe, then I sure am not going down quietly. Now, the fact that Felix has been to Miracle Island means he likely won't be fooled, but I doubt the others are as attentive, so this will test how much they trust Felix."

As the evening passes, it eventually stops raining.

Ondine: "The rain has finally passed."

Aurore: "I wouldn't count on it."

Wayhem: "What do you mean?"

Mireille: "Eye of the storm. We'll have at best 2 hours before the rain picks up again."
