Day 4 - Red Camp

The red tribe members arrive at camp.

Adrien: "Good effort, everyone."

Luka: "Yeah, nice job. We tried our best and ultimately, that's all we can do."

Lila: "Hopefully our best is enough to carry us over the line tomorrow."

Luka: "What do you mean?"

Lila: "I just want to avoid repeating last night if possible."

Mylene: "Yeah, that sounds fair."

Luka: (confessional) "There is still the question on my mind from last night. Because it wasn't just Chloe that voted for me, someone else wanted me out as well. For some reason, Lila seems particularly nervous around the idea of going back there."

Lila and Luka.

Luka: "Hey, Lila."

Lila: "Hi, Luka."

Luka: "I was hoping we could get a chance to talk."

Lila: "Sure."

Luka: "I think we may have started off on the wrong foot. Would you be willing to make amends?"

Lila: "What did you have in mind?"

Luka: "You seem to be struggling to find a place within this group. To accommodate this, I'd like to propose a truce."

Lila: "Ok. How would this work?"

Luka: "If you can keep my name out of the loop, I'll do the same for you."

Lila: "How long will this last?"

Luka: "Ideally, until the end."

Lila: "Ok, you got a deal."

They shake hands.

Lila: (confessional) "Does this exchange have any impact on my target? No. As far as I'm aware, my name was never 'in the loop' to use Luka's words. So, there is an implied threat in what Luka's saying, which is a bit of a concern."

Ivan and Mylene.

Ivan: "I'm quite impressed with how we performed today."

Mylene: "Yeah, who would've thought you could complete a memory challenge?"

Ivan: "I know, it's not really my thing. Give me a tough and upfront physical contest any day."

Luka approaches.

Luka: "Hey there, guys."

Ivan: "Hi, Luka."

Luka: "Have you seen Rose anywhere?"

Mylene: "I think she was near the water well."

Luka: "Ok, let's go find her. There's something I want to talk to you about."

The 3 of them walk to the water well, where they find Rose.

Ivan: "Hi, Rose."

Rose: "Hello. How are you?"

Luka: "I'm doing great. I wanted to check with you about something. What are your thoughts on Lila? Do you think she's someone we might be able to work with?"

Mylene: "Difficult to tell. I think our first priority should be working out who else is voting against us."

Rose: "I agree. If someone has voted against us before, who's to say they won't do it again?"

Luka: "Ok, so we'll keep a closer eye on the others until we're certain who we can trust."

Rose: "All right, I can do that."

Rose: (confessional) "This is extremely chaotic. Normally, we would be getting along perfectly fine, but what we have here is a game where in order to proceed, we have to eliminate each other one by one. Everyone has self-survival in mind, and this will only become more apparent as we go further down the line."

Adrien and Lila.

Lila: "Could I ask you something?"

Adrien: "Of course. What's on your mind?"

Lila: "I'm a little concerned about Luka."

Adrien: "Yes, I recall you saying this yesterday."

Lila: "Something's changed since last night, though."

Adrien: "Really? Like what?"

Lila: "Luka seems intent on finding out who else voted for him. Almost like he's on some kind of frenzy."

Adrien: "As far as I'm concerned, who you vote for is your own business."

Lila: "Yeah, I get that. Which is where my concern is. He's trying to make who we vote for his business as well."

Adrien: (confessional) "While I do currently have mild trust issues around Lila, I must admit this information she's brought to my attention will have serious ramifications. If it's true, that is."

Alix and Nathaniel, sitting by the beach.

Alix: "What are your thoughts?"

Nathaniel: "On what?"

Alix: "Anything really."

Nathaniel: "Weather? Looks like it might rain a little bit later, but otherwise not too bad. Challenge? To be honest, I was quite impressed with our performance. Especially Ivan. For him to win a memory game was very surprising. Camp? Could probably do with some additional luxuries, but it is what it is. How about you?"

Alix: "Actually, I was thinking more about since last night."

Nathaniel: "Oh. As in Lila?"

Alix: "Yeah."

Nathaniel: "Look, she's concerned for her position and to be fair, I don't blame her. She thought the vote was going a certain way and it didn't."

Alix: "Do you think it should've gone that way?"

Nathaniel: "Overall, I felt Chloe wasn't being productive to the effort of the team, which is ultimately why I, along with most of us if I were to guess, voted for her. Lila had some concerns about Luka which may have been legitimate, I guess time will tell. Realistically, though, our votes wouldn't have been enough to change the result so there's no real use in dwelling over it."

Alix: "I suppose you're right. What do you think should be our next step?" Lila approaches. "Speak of the devil."

Lila: "Hi. Mind if I join you?"

Nathaniel: "Not at all. Help yourself."

Lila sits down beside them.

Lila: "What's going on?"

Alix: "We're trying to decide what our next course of action should be."

Lila: "I think you know what my idea is. But we should at least wait for the result of the upcoming challenge before rushing to a decision."

Lila: (confessional) "Lately, I've been paying a lot of attention to what Luka has been doing and I think his yoga sessions are a front. He's definitely more calculating than he's letting on. And while I'm also quite calculating in my approach, I've at least been up front about it, I haven't been hiding anything."
