Alice

May humintong sasakyan sa gilid namin kaya napahinto kami sa paglalakad ni Mella

Bumaba ang bintana nito at dun ko nakita si Wade at ang lalakeng nagmamay-ari ng asul na mga mata

He stared at me for a moment before he diverted his gaze to the front. His hands were on the steering wheel, seryoso lang ang mukha nito

On the other side, there's Wade with a huge smile on his lips

"Sumabay na kayo sa amin. Medyo malayo pa ang lalakarin nyo"

"Naku Sir Wade wag na po! Kaya naman po namin maglakad at isa pa ay malapit na rin po kami sa gate" magalang na pagtanggi ni Mella

"I insist. Malayo pa ang dapat nyong lakarin bago makarating sa sakayan ng tricycle" giit nito

He's right. Wala nga masyadong dumadaan na mga public vehicles dito sa area nila

Binalingan ako ni Mella. Tumango na lang ako para matapos na ang usapan nila. I really want to go home. Siguradong nag aalala na si Emir dahil natagalan ako

Si Mella ang nagbukas ng backseat at pinauna akong makasakay

"Sa may sakayan lang kami Señorito Carter" saad ni Mella

Carter nodded. Pinausad na nito ang sasakyan

"Pasensya na nga pala ulit sa nangyari kanina" si Wade. I can feel his sincerity, mukhang hindi pa rin sya makamove on sa nangyari

"Ayos lang. Wag mo na isipin yun" paniniguro ko. Ngumiti sya at lumitaw ang malalalim nyang dimples. That smile, he can surely melt any woman's heart... except from me because according to that spoiled brat earlier, I'm still a kid when she was the one who acts like one. I did my best not to roll my eyes

"Hindi mo man lang nasabi Mella na may maganda kang pinsan" nakangiti pa rin ito

"Naku hindi ko sya pinsan. Magkaibigan lang kami. Bagong lipat lang sila malapit sa amin" Mella looks like she's still mesmerized with the hot men in front of her. Carter on the driver's seat and Wade on the passenger seat

Wade nodded

"Are those school stuffs?" tinuro ni Wade ang mga bag na bitbit namin ni Mella

Tumango ako

"Mag aaral ka sa Monteclaro College?"

"Yeah. Nakapag-take na ako ng exam and I passed. I'm just waiting for the enrollment"

"Oh that's good to hear"

Ngumiti sya

"What program?" he curiously asked

"An Engineering one. I'm planning to take Civil Engineering" sagot ko

He nodded

"I'm an Architectural Engineer and Carter is a Civil Engineer. If you're having a hard time with your subjects or courses, we can help you. We're willing to help" he offered

I just smiled in response. There's a chance that he meant his words but I don't think that guy beside him will agree with his idea

Nagpatuloy sa pagsasalita si Wade. He's making sure that the ride won't be awkward for the four of us. He was busy telling stories just to lighten the atmosphere while Carter on the other hand was busy focusing on the road. It was a good thing actually to avoid a possible accident

"Salamat ulit Sir Wade!" saad ni Mella nang makababa kami. Tinignan nya si Carter

"Sayo rin Señorito Carter"
