"Alright! Carter meet Nick, the classmate and Nick meet Carter, the suitor" Emir butted in. He sounded vigorous. I guess he just wanted to lift the tension
"Suitor huh?" I can sense the bitterness in Nick's tone
"So technically she's still single" he stated and look directly to Carter's eyes

Carter took a step forward. Matalim ang titig nito kay Nick
"You won't stand a chance, kid" mariing sabi nya
Napalunok ako. Damn the heavy tension!
"Chill everyone! Masyado kayong hot!" Emir forced a laugh but it didn't lessen the tension
