"Kidnap Zatanna" they said. "It'll be fun," they said. Riiiight. Definitely. I sighed and sank further back into my chair. It was bad enough that I was getting a reoccurring, very detailed nightmare of everyone I have ever loved dying, but now I had to deal with Robin and Zatanna flirting nonstop. It was extremely tiresome. An ugly feeling blossomed in my stomach. I sighed as Zatanna laughed at a joke that Robin had made. Her and her stupid laugh that sounded like bells. Stupid laugh. Stupid Zatanna. I leaned forward and smacked my head on the table in front of me. I heard a laugh from behind me. Without turning around or even looking, I smacked our resident speedster. A shout was heard, then silence.
"Where are we going?" Robin asked. "Batman is the World's Greatest Detective, and he searched for Tornado and Morrow in every logical location. If we're gonna do better, we need an illogical solution." He reasoned. I picked up on what he was saying and smirked.
"A truly dumb idea." I suggested innocently as everyone turned to look at Wally. He seemed to think it over.
"As a matter of fact..." He smiled mischievously. I smirked with him, but the smirk died when I turned to find Zatanna and Robin joking around again. I sighed and looked out the window.
Is it wrong that I just want it to be me? Is that so wrong? She has everything I don't. Beautiful laugh, beautiful smile. She's smart and resourceful. Everything he would probably like for a girl. Now I'm obsessing. Great going, Hero.
"Hey Ree, could I talk to you for a second?" I looked up startled at Zatanna. I nodded and followed her to the back of the ship. I didn't want to hate her. I didn't hate her. She was actually pretty cool and would be a great addition to the Team, but...
"Did you want to ask me something?" I asked the magician.
"Do you have something against me? I mean you've been giving me these really annoyed looks, borderline hateful, and I was just wondering if I did something wrong." She said rapidly. I blinked and then it clicked.
Oops.
"I don't hate you. It's just..." I sighed. "When I see you and him... I can't help but be slightly jealous. I want to be friends with you. You seem like a cool person." She started laughing. I gave her a questioning look as she recovered her dignity.
"Me and Robin?! Are you kidding me?" She laughed. "Have you seen us? We could be twins!" I felt like a moron.
"Not gonna lie, you're kinda making me feel like an idiot." I chuckled. She was no longer laughing, but a knowing smile played across her lips.
"Besides," She said nonchalantly. "He's only got eyes for you." I blinked.
"What?" I asked, but she was gone. I huffed.
Stupid magicians. Stupid feelings. Being a teenager sucks.
I walked back to my seat with a fake pout settled on my lips. I flopped into my chair and faced away from Zatanna. I heard a smothered giggle from behind me, but managed to keep a straight face. I looked out the window.
"Guys? Why are we at Belle Reve?" I asked. Wally smiled smugly.
"While you and Zatanna were doing... whatever you were doing, I thought it would be a dumb idea to catch up with Professor Ivo. See if he knows where his rival is." He explained. I stared at him for a second.
"I have to admit... that is the smartest idea to go about this. Good job, Wally." I complemented. He looked shocked for a second before covering it up with a smile.

"Warden Strange owed us a favor for stopping last month's prison break." M'gann said. "He's given us five minutes with you." She directed the last part to a certain ginger midget currently cuffed to a chair.
