TW FOR SUICIDE

After about three weeks of living together, they had already moved everything in. They also received a call from Julia saying that she might not be there for a week or so.

Sawyer hadn't exactly been feeling well. He wasn't sick or anything, unless you count him being sick of Stephanie.

Like, God, she was so clingy. Sure, she was like this before but now she was even more clingy now that they had met up and could see each other everyday.

Stephanie, of course, had noticed this. She thought maybe Sawyer had needed space but now she was fed up with him ignoring her.

She decided to confront him one day, shoving him as he was streaming.

"Sawyer. We need to talk." She says, demandingly.

"Steph, not now. Im streaming. Can we talk later?" Sawyer tries to reason, trying to get out of it."

"No. Now. Just fucking mute yourself on stream."

"Just go away."

"No. Right fucking now Sawyer."

Sawyer goes and mutes himself on discord.

He turns around, they face each other, neither being able to see the computer.

"What do you want that's so important that you need to stop my stream?" He says, a little too loudly.

"I want to know why the fuck you've been ignoring me."

"Can you please just go away?"

"No. Fucking tell me."

"Just leave!" He yells.

"NO TELL ME NOW!" She yells back.

"JUST GO AWAY!"

"Tell me!" She hits his shoulder and puts her hand on his wrist.

"Get your fucking hands off me! No one needs you here! Get out of the room you useless piece of shit." He scoffs at her tears. "Go. Away." He jabs his finger in her shoulder between his words.

Stephanie was in tears now. This was her worst fear. She had always believed that Sawyer really cares about her.

She ran out of them room with tears running down her face, the door slamming behind her.

Sawyer scoffs as he turns back around, unmuting himself on discord, and going to unmute himself on stream. But...he had never muted himself on stream.

"Shit!" He curses as he sees chat spam question marks.

"Chat...did you hear what just happened?" He questions softly as chat spams "Yes" and "Why'd you do that to Steph?"

He realizes his mistake, ending the stream hurriedly. He runs to Stephanie's room, opening the door.

He expects her to be crying on her bed, but he didn't expect to find her standing there with a knife to her neck.

She was there, shaking and crying with the knife at her neck.

He walks towards her slowly, but Stephanie stops him.

"Don't." She chokes out. "Don't come near me."

"No Steph. Don't do this. I didn't mean what I said."

She scoffs. "It seemed like you meant it."

She brings the knife closer to her neck, Sawyer stepping closer as she does so.

"Steph?! Steph come on. Steph please. We can talk this out." He tries to reason.

She doesn't hear him though. She's blocked out what he says. He calls 911, informing them of their address and telling them that his friend was committing suicide. He throws his phone to somewhere in the room, not caring where it went or if it was cracked

"Steph! Come on. Please! Steph, I love you!" He's crying at this point, both of them have tears streaming down their faces.

Steph again doesn't hear him. She looks at Sawyer, choking out. "I loved you."

"Loved? No Steph! You still love me! I love you too! Don't do this please!" He yells.

She pulls the knife, but not away from her.

Sawyer sees everything happen. He sees the blood suddenly drip down her neck.

He runs towards her and catches her as she falls. He can feel her limp body in his arms.

Sawyer tears his shirt off and applies pressure to the wound, trying to stop the bleeding.

"Steph! Steph! Why!" He cries.

The last thing Stephanie hears before she goes unconscious is the loud sirens of the ambulance ringing in her ears.
