Well, about a week later, they did meet up.

They sat in Sawyer's dining room, since they decided not to go anywhere and just chill there.

Stephanie and Julia sat there at the table with coffee in front of them, waiting for Sawyer to come back. They made Sawyer go to the store and get them some wine. And so, he left about 10 minutes ago. They didn't really want wine or any alcohol really, but it was funny when Sawyer frantically ran around trying to find some.

They were conversing when they hear the door open and close, signaling that Sawyer came back from the grocery store. He had some wine in his hands, one in each. He set them down on the middle of the table, sitting down after he does that.

"So, how have you been lately Julia?" He says, looking next to him at Julia.

Julia stares down at her hands, fiddling with them. She was nervous, to say the least. She felt bad about hurting him without knowing what happened that day.

"I've been okay." She answers. "You?"

"I've been fine. I'm guessing it took a lot of convincing for you to come here," he says with a chuckle.

She looks up, smiling at him. "Well, you know I could never say no to Stephanie. She's just too pure and innocent."

They both laugh as Stephanie pouts at them.

"What do you mean pure?" She whined.

Sawyer looked forward at her and just laughed more, running out of air as he tried to breathe.

Stephanie hit his shoulder as he stopped and pouted at her as well. Julia saw that and kept laughing, gasping for air. Stephanie turned towards her and hit her shoulder as well as she stops laughing.

"Hey! What was that for?" Julia whines.

Stephanie crosses her arms over her chest and mutters, "Stop laughing at me."

Sawyer smiles at her. "Sorry about that Steph."

She pouts and then smiles at him softly.

"There's that smile." Julia says.

Steph looks up and smiles at them, seeing them stare at her. She shyly looks down at her lap, tapping her fingers on her jeans.

Sawyer sees how she got shy and smiled lovingly at her. He leans over and puts his finger on her chin, forcing her to look up at him.

"Let me see that smile." He says smiling, showing his white teeth.

She smiles softly at him as she gets to see him smile. He lets go of her, keeping eye contact for a few moments and they continue talking about random topics.

Stephanie watches as Julia and Sawyer get along again, watching them smile to each other and laughing. It was just like past times, how they would talk for hours about nothing really. They could talk forever and still have something to talk about. This is what Stephanie missed about them, their friendship.

She smiles at them, slowly fading into the background of their conversation as they laugh at each other and talk.

They were happy now.
