Pov Louis.
Mother's funeral took place a week after her death. She was buried in a veritable ceremony worthy of a queen. Only she had never been one.
In the funeral procession, Father, Charlotte, Nicolas and I walked behind her coffin as she was buried in the chapel next to our younger brother Hercule.
The chapel had been filled with all the people who had loved her, just as we loved her.
The days before the funeral, Father had locked himself in his rooms. His room had been darkened except for one candlelight. He spent his days looking at the portrait of our mother that he had hung in his room a few years ago. Sometimes, when he came out of his rooms, he would kneel by my mother's body.
He cried and he screamed. And sometimes I could even hear him in my own rooms.
Charlotte, Nicolas and I were suddenly left without our mother. The woman who loved us so much.
Grandmother Catherine decided to take us to chateau chenoceau so that we could mourn our mother far from court.
It felt weird leaving father alone, but Grandmother said he'd get over it if we did too.
But I knew we would all never get over our mother's death.
Pov Francis.
Every day since death I have lived in total misery. I felt guilty, and will always feel guilty for her death.
I had Jane banished from court. It was no use because I would never get Bianca back. I would never see her again.
Sometimes I withdrew to her rooms that I had left untouched. I didn't want to realize she was gone.
I had to let her go for my children but how hard that turned out to be.
Bianca would live on in my heart forever.
And I would never forgive myself.
This is really the end folks. We were able to enjoy Bianca for 71 chapters.
The sequel of this book will take place 6 years after her death and will mainly focus on the new generation.
As soon as I find a title (which I can't think of yet) it will be posted.
