SPLOOSH, a crowd of people roar cheering, as two trainers face off, one with a Poliwrath and the other with a Ninetales, both trying to win. "And Poliwrath attempts to finish off this EXCITING battle by attacking Ninetales with a waterfall attack," The announcer says."But Ninetales gracefully dodges the attack and is now retaliating with its own attack." While the announcer is saying all of this the Ninetales is attacking with a fire spin attack, now trapping the Poliwrath in flames waiting for what its trainer will ask it to do now.

"Poliwrath use dig!" Poliwrath's trainer yells, and Poliwrath starts digging to escape from the Ninetales's fire spin attack.

"Ninetales jump and use fire blast on the floor!" Ninetales's trainer responds, and Ninetales does exactly that and leaves a part of the battle arena cracked and scorched.

"That right there folks was the devastating power of a fire blast attack," The announcer exclaims.

 "But where is Poliwrath!"

"DREEEEEEEE!" I hear the Dodrio of the town screeching as the sun is finally rising over the nearby mountain, revealing all the morning dew that is on the grass and in the tree I'm sitting underneath. The sun starts warming me up, as I start to get up and walk away from the tree.

"It's time," I say out loud. "To get my starter pokemon from Oak and begin my journey as a pokemon trainer." While I am getting up I grab my yellow hoodie that is hanging off of the swing, and put it on. I double knot my red and white sneakers, adjust my white and blue headphones, and dust off my royal blue shorts and black t-shirt with a violet Pikachu face wearing a lime-green headset. I start stretching and getting ready to start jogging. I play some music that's blasting into my ears but right now I don't care about that. All I care about is starting my adventure, I wonder what will happen.

I begin to jog while listening to Best Day of My Life by American Authors. About a minute into the song I see to my right a wild Pidgeotto fly out of the dew filled grass, the water droplets popping off of the grass and the wild pokemon creating a splash of water in the field, as if a fish pokemon came up and fell back into a lake. I arrive at Professor Oak's Lab, I see the windmill going at a steady pace, a plum stained wooden roof that stands out over the other houses nearby, the dull yellow walls with all the windows so clear yet reflective, the stairway that leads to the lab, and the gate that allows you to enter the premises of the lab.

Nearby the gate I notice a silhouette, as I get closer I start to recognize it as my best friend Andrew. "ANDREW!" I yell while flailing my hand, he responds by looking in my direction, also waving his hand. Andrew's short brown hair glows in the sun, kinda matching his brown-gold school jacket, ripped blue jeans, and black sneakers.

"Hey DJ," Andrew said, reaching out his pale hand, pulling me in for a bear hug. "Ready for the big day man, the day we both become trainers." He said while grinning.

"Absolutely," I say. "I barely got any sleep last night because of how excited I've been."

"You got sleep," He says, starting to laugh now."That's rich man."

"DREEEEEEEdroooDREEEEEE!" Andrew and I hear the Dodrio, the sun fully out now and the weather starts to get warmer and warmer. A gust of wind begins to blow away some leaves from some nearby trees.

"Hello boys," Andrew and I hear from where the lab is, we look and we both see Professor Oak. "Welcome to my Laboratory, it's very nice to see the two of you." He says smiling and waving while holding what I would assume is a cup of coffee. "Well come on up boys." On que the gate where Andrew and I are next to unlocks, as we hear a clicking/buzzing sound. Andrew and I sprint up the steps, and excitedly greet Professor Oak.
