(~Your POV~)

I grab the picnic blanket from Horror, "Pfff- give it here. I'll do it." With one swift motion, I spread open the blanket and let it slowly fall to the ground.

Horror smiles and places the ice chest in the middle, before turning to the scenery in front of us. A large lake, lush green grass, and areas welcoming new guests. There are other people taking advantage of this perfect day too.

A couple of friends playing catch with a frisbee. A kid and his mother flying kites together. Several pairs of friends and couples walking around, laughing and joking with each other. There's even a man playing fetch with his dog.

'Way more calming than the mall, for sure.'

Horror shares the same calm and joyful look as me, sitting down on the blanket, "For living nearby, it's kind of sad we don't visit here more often." "That's true." I agree, sitting down beside him.

"Need something to drink?" Horror smirks, opening up the ice chest and offering a sealed cup of my favorite drink.

'Wha- How did he kNoW?'

He senses my shock and smirks, "Blue talks a lot about ya. When I say a lot, I MEAN A LOT. The Dude basically wrote your entire biography in his head. I kinda know everything about ya already." I fight the urge to face palm and apologize for Blue's ecstatic behavior sometimes.

'Honestly, I'm not as great as he claims me to be. I still make mistakes and I'm still a human.'

Instead of saying all that, I gratefully accept the drink while tilting my head, "Well there must be something you don't know.. right???"

Horror hesitates, having to think about it, "Yeah, I guess- Wait. Yeah, um... Two things, actually." I smirk while taking a sip of my drink, silently gesturing that he could ask me anything.

"What's your soul type? Y'know, your trait?" After quickly swallowing my sip, I answer, "Blue told you about everything else except that?! Heh, it's (soul trait)." "A (s/c) soul then?" "Mhm~" I happily nod, taking another sip.

"Heh, that's cool. Useful too. It fits ya-" "Like my nickname?" I ask, arching an eyebrow. "Sweetcakes is a good nickname!!!" He defends himself, laughing. "Maybe for at home when we're by ourselves, but it's embarrassing in public!"

Horror winks at me, "Sorry Sweetie, you'll just have to get used to it." My cheeks turn a tiny redder as I weakly slap his shoulder, "ThAt's WoRSe!" The joyful skeleton only laughs more at my embarrassed behavior, "Well ya gotta let me call you something-" "My name is Y/N!" I squeal, making a point and hiding my blushing face.

"Aww, but everyone else can call you that. That's no fun~" He chuckles, hugging his knees and gazing out to the lake. I huff, changing the subject, "What was the second one?" "Hm?" "Your second question. You said there were two things you didn't know. What's the second one?"

Horror suddenly gets embarrassed, nervously chuckling as he gazes in the complete opposite direction. His face glows a deep red as he mutters, "It's not.. It's dumb, really.. It's not important so ya don't have to answer that one." I tug on his sleeve, not letting him back out now, "Oh come on Horrorrrrr! Tell me!"

"A-Are you and Blue supposed t-t-to be.. A thing? Do you have someone already? Y'know, that's more than a friend..?"

I definitely wasn't expecting a question like that. I freeze, my heart starting to throb as he looks back to me.

'Me and Blue? No. We're just friends. Why would he-....'

My cheeks gain so much blush. It keeps growing too as I laugh, completely losing my breath. Horror flinches, getting more and more flustered the longer that he goes without an answer. "Horror, are you asking if I'm single?" He makes all kinds of flustered and embarrassed skeleton noises, instantly pulling his hood over his head.
