Agatha
I keep getting texts from Penelope and it's getting annoying now.
I tried ignoring them for a while until they transformed into calls, so texting was the better option.
It's frustrating, really, when all you want to do is run away from something, yet everyone in your life just drives you back to it.
"Oh, look, Agatha! I learnt a new phrase and I bet it's a good spell."
"OMG! Simon baked cookies! By himself!"
"Are you coming over for Christmas? Baz is hosting."
Like, okay- and? I'm living in bloody California. Is it not apparent that I don't want to do anything with magic and wizards and- Baz- anymore?
I keep getting so worked up over this, and it's not even a big deal. I mean, she is just trying to be nice to me and keep me involved.
Thing is- I hate being involved. I don't want to be involved in whatever peril those three land themselves in next. And when did they become "those three" anyway?
Ever since that day at Baz's house- well, mansion, to be accurate- Simon and Baz have been too buddy-buddy. Baz didn't even pay attention to me.
Crowley, the tension between them that day- it seemed like they had been secretly hooking up!
I laugh at my thoughts as another notification pops up-

At first, I just leave it unread. She'll probably text me for a while until she fizzles out, then I'll reply to each text at ease. I go back to the news-stand magazines that my roommates always have lying around but it's hard to concentrate with the pings from my phone.
Maybe I should just put it on silent.
I unlock the phone to quiet it down but even more messages keep flooding in.
A text. Another text. A photograph. A text. An entire chain of texts. A video. A text.
Okay, maybe I should just reply and get this over and done with.
I open up her chat and go through the several misspelled texts about "the best day ever" and "Simon getting stuck in a kiddie slide" and "Baz freaking out a child with his fangs".
They were having the time of their lives, I guess, so why was I being dragged into it?
I go through the photos one by one carefully, because God was it tiring to be involved in anything, but I was a part of this now so I might as well enjoy it.
Penelope's mustard jumper looked nice. I told her that. She immediately replied with a quick "Thanks" and went offline again.
I finally got to the video. It was too loud, mostly just muffled screams and a few adult voices (probably the only ones, which belonged to them, by the way) and Penelope roaming around filming everything.
Simon was seated on a swing with one of his arms reaching out into the air and Baz was too busy shunning the camera.
"Come one now, I'm making a video for Agatha!" Penelope barked.
Baz reluctantly turned to the camera with a half-smile, gave a weird mixture of a wave and a salute and went back to looking at nothing.
Simon ran up to the group and gave me the heartiest "hello". He giggled- he actually giggled- and walked away. He sure was happy.
The camera pans back to Penelope, "Well, I'll leave you to it now, I guess! Also, are you coming for the summer?"
The video ends.
At first, I was too caught up in Penelope's question, but after watching it again my eyes saw something in the back.
I replayed it and- What the actual hell?! In the background where Simon had run off too, Baz had joined him and they- they kissed!
I take a screenshot and send it back to Penelope with the caption "Excuse me, what?!", although, it didn't really encompass the total amount of shock that I was experiencing.
A few minutes pass and she replies with a simple one lined message.
"Yeah, about that... you didn't know?"
'You didn't know?'- Of course I didn't know! Simon and Baz- Baz and Simon. Wow!
Wait so back when me and Simon were together- and that day in the forest... oh, God! How could I have been so oblivious?
Well, fuck me because now, it all made sense.

Yes, this is a filler. And no, I'm not planning on completing Wanderlust anytime soon... DON'T COME FOR ME- (┬┬﹏┬┬)
