19 | movie theater

huening kai's pov ~
yeonjun, beomgyu, and i stood outside of the movie theater, waiting for taehyun and soobin to get here. our plan was to watch a movie, then go eat dinner at a restaurant.

although the weather is a bit cloudy and cold, i'm gonna try my best to have fun.

"did i just feel a rain drop?" beomgyu asked, as he stared up at the sky. i glanced at the sky as well and felt a couple of light droplets just as he mentioned.

"it's fine. a little rain won't hurt us," yeonjun reassured him as he moved even closer and put his oversized sweater on beomgyu. he then side hugged him cutely.

they look so adorable together. man, i really wish i had a relationship like theirs. they're literally perfect for each other.

as i was staring at yeongyu, i suddenly realized that taebin arrived.

"hey!" both taehyun and soobin waved at us.

"well dang. i didn't expect you both to show up looking this fashionable," yeonjun told taehyun. i glanced at them up and down and saw that they did indeed look pretty fashionable.

"look who's talking. you showed up in a whole fucking suit," taehyun replied. i laughed at his joke. it wasn't really a suit, but he does have a point. it looked similar to a suit.

"as he always does. anyways, we should head inside now, the movie starts in a couple of minutes."

after getting our tickets and everything, we finally sat down to watch the movie. i giggled to myself because i'm the only one who knows what the movie is.

we basically just decided to play rock paper scissors, and whoever won had to pick the movie but also had to pay for all of our tickets so the people who didn't win can't see the movie name. i won, so i decided to pick a horror movie, something that both yeonjun and soobin absolutely hate with a passion.

yeonjun just hates it, and soobin hates loud noises so he hates jump scares, which makes him hate horror movies. it's absolutely perfect because soobin can jump into taehyun's arms and yeonjun can jump into beomgyu's!

it's funny for me to think that beomgyu would be the one protecting yeonjun, because yeonjun always acts like he's such a tough dude, when really, he's not all that tough. he's just got a really big ego.

"huening kai, i swear to god if you picked something stupid, i will rip your arms off," taehyun aggressively said.

"damn. what did he ever do to you?" yeonjun mumbled.

"i swear to fucking god kai i'm gonna rip your arms off! that gave me a fucking heart attack!" yeonjun angrily whisper-yelled.

"didn't you just disagree with me and now you're literally saying the same exact thing?" taehyun glared at him.

"i'm sorry okay. you were right. wanna kill him together?"

"yeah. but you should've already knew that i'm always right. anyways how shall we commit the murder. running him over? or maybe with weapons? i can go home real quick and bring a knife. or do you prefer a machine gun?"

"oh my gosh bestie, you're thriving with those weapons. gimme some."

"...so like um...can you guys not plot my death right in front of me?" i quietly said while being squished by yeonjun and taehyun on each side. they were both intensely looking at each other's eyes like they were competing or something. "i'm just gonna—" i slightly pushed their heads away from each other so they would stop squishing me.

"we'll talk about this later," taehyun joked around with yeonjun.

beomgyu suddenly tugged on yeonjun's arm.

"pay attention to me." he whispered in yeonjun's ear, as he pouted cutely. yeonjun's lips slightly pouted as well from beomgyu's cuteness.

"awww. don't worry, i'm always focused on you." they both smiled at each other. he then lay his head on yeonjun's shoulder.

on the other side, soobin's knees were up to his chest while rocking back and forth in fear. he just kept looking and then looking away from the screen. taehyun eyed him like he was a weirdo, which he obviously is. he's way too paranoid.

"can you stop moving? you keep touching my arm."

"s-sorry. that was an accide—AH!" there was a huge moment of silence in the crowd because soobin screamed very loud at the sudden jump scare. but then everyone in the crowd started laughing after realizing what happened. "oh my gosh...i'm so embarrassed..." he hid his face in his knees, but i could still see his bright red face.

he was so adorable that even i smiled at his cuteness. but taehyun just pointed at him and laughed very hardly. he laughed so hard that it sounded like it hurt him.

"haha! that was pathetic!"

"s-shut up!" suddenly, taehyun wrapped his arm around soobin and shook him from side to side, still laughing. after a few seconds of moving him around, taehyun stopped and faced the screen, but was still smiling. i noticed that his face was a little pink too and it made me giggle.

these two couples are the cutest.

but i wonder...will i ever be able to find love like this too?
