Bondita's Agni pareeksha

It was morning,
Bondi was getting ready in front of mirror. She was not feeling good today. It was like something big and dangerous is going to happen. Ani went to office early. Bondi have to go on time. No one was at home accept her. Ksj went for some work outside the village, binoy batuk and som were outside the village. Sampurna bihari and koyeli went to market.

She was coming outside the mansion when some people come infront of her "yeh kya ho raha h... aap sab mera raasta kyu rok rahe h..." bondi asked "kyunki tum ladki ho aur hum tumhe kaam pe nhi jaane de sakte..." one man said "dekhiye... main kehe rahi hu mera rasta chhod dijiye varna anjaam bohot bura hoga.." she gave them an angry glare "thik h bhaiyo rasta do malkin ko..." they all went aside. But then bondi saw her path full of burning coal "yeh sab kya h..." she asked "pareeksha..." one man said "kya... kaisi pareeksha..." she asked "tumhari agni pareeksha..." another man said "aap sab meri pareeksha kyu lenge..." she asked "kyunki tumhara aur pranam ka chakkar chal raha tha..." one man said blaming her "kya... aap sab itni ghatiya baat soch bhi kaise sakte h... mere aur pranam ke beech mein kuch nhi tha..." bondi said loudly "hum kaise maan le... agar tumhare aur pranam ke beech mein kuch nhi tha toh saabit karke batao..." all men cried "main kyu aap sabko saabit karke batau... main kehe rahi hu ki main ne aisa kuch nhi kiya mtlb main ne aisa kuch nhi kiya... aur aap sabko mere niji mamlo mein bolne ka koi hak nhi h..." she gave them an angry glare "ab yeh niji mamla nhi raha malkin... ab yeh baat hum sabke saamme hui h... aur humein pramaan chahiye ki aap humare anirudh babu se sacha pyaar karti h aur aapne kuch nhi kiya..." one man said "par mughe aap sabko saabit karna kyu h..." bondita asked "kyunki tum ek ladki ho... agar tumhe dekhke humare ghar ki ladkiya bhi tumhare jaise apni maange rakhne lagi toh..." one man said "ha toh thik hee hoga na... maange rakhna ka hak toh sabko hota h..." she questioned "nhi.... tum mahilaye hum purusho ke barabar nhi ho sakti... aur agar tum humare barabar ho aur tum apne dam pe barrister bani ho toh chalo iss raaste par aur phoncho apni manzil tak..."

Meanwhile in the court,
"Yeh bondita ko der kyu ho rahi h aane mein..." ani asked to himself seeing his wrist watch. And at the same time a person came to him and said "maalik jldi chaliye wahan bondita ji ki gaav wale agni pareeksha le rahe h..." the man said "kya kaisi pareeksha..." ani asked "vo gaav wale unhe jlti hui angaaro par chalne ko kehe rahe h aur yahi unki pareeksha h aap rok lijiye yeh sab..." the man said "kya... kahan..." ani asked in panick "vo aapke ghar ke bahar.." the man informed "ch.. chalo..." ani left in fear.

At bondi's side,
"Ha aur agar tum anirudh babu se pyaar karti ho toh saabit karo..." one man said "thik h... agar baat mere pyaar aur meri kaabiliyat ki h toh main karungi..." she said seeing the coal path and closed her eyes and about to take a step when someone placed his hand in below her foot on the coal. She felt something and saw that anirudh placed his hand in below her foot. She smiled seeing her rakshak babu. Ani up his head and saw her sakhi and smiled. She immediately removed her foot from his hand. His hand got burnt badly and was bleeding. He stood and round his hand to see the wound. Bondi's eyes filled with tears seeing the wound. "Arre anirudh babu aapne yeh kya kiya..." one of the man asked "jo karna chahiye tha..." ani said in a disappointing way "mughe toh aap sab se puchna chahiye ki aapne kya kiya... ek ladki ko kaam karne se bahar jane se rok rahe the... ya uss baat ki saza de rahe the jo usne ki hee nhi..." he said in a loud voice "aur kya kehe rahe the aap sab... pramaan... aapko humare pyaar ka pramaan chahiye na... main hu humare pyaar ka jita.. jaagta praman..." he said "mardaangi ladki ke uper dikhane ke liye nhi ki jaati... ladki ko bachane ke liye uski dhaal banne ke liye ki jaati h... aur meri bondita ne kuch nhi kiya... jo hua uss mein uski koi glti nhi thi... aur aap sab yeh baat jitni jldi smgh le utna acha hoga..." he gave an angry glare. Bondi was only admiring her rakshak babu from back with a smile and eyes full of tears "aur yeh jo aap sabne rasta sajaaye h na..." he pointed towards the burning coal and kicked it "chalo bondita..." he held his hand tightly and they went in their house. All the men left in anger.

In study,
"Chaliye aap mere saath..." bondi took anirudh in the study holdinghis hand "arre bondita main thik hu..."  ani said "chup chap baithiye..." she said strictly and took haldi paste and patti to apply on hi wound. She was doing first-aid and a tears fall on ani's hand "yeh jitne tumhare aansu nikal rahe h na.... itna dard nhi ho raha mughe..." he said "chup kariye... aapko nhi ho raha par mughe toh ho raha h na... dur se nhi kya bata sakte the mughe... ki bondita mat karo yeh... aise apna haath rakhna zaroori tha kya... ek toh pata nhi kyu subha se hee dil bohot ghabra raha h aur uper se aap yeh sab kar rahe h..." she was sobbing and covered her eyes woth her hand as she was stressed "bondita dekho meri baat suno.." ani said trying to console her and was going to put her hand on her shoulder bit she seperated "jaaiye mughe aap se koi baat nhi karni" she said "acha so... sorry..." ani said bit she didn't reacted. Now his eyes also get moist seeing bondita in this condition. He started crying. Bondi heard his voice and saw him. He was crying downing his head. She hugged him seeing him crying and placed his head near his neck.
The tuning of jalte diye started in bgm.
"Sorry bondita par main kya karta... ahar chillata toh vo gaav walo tumhe zaroor yeh pareeksha karvate... agar na chillata toh tum uss jalte angare par pair rakh deti aur main aisa hone nhi deta... toh batao main kya karta... main tumhe dard mein nhi dekh sakta tum jaanti ho na..." he said but no response came "acha chhodo yeh sab aur jao jaake araam karo..." he said and broke the hug and wiped her tears "andar kyu daftar nhi kya jaana..." she asked "tum daftar chalogi..." he questioned "haa... chot mughe thodi na lagegi h main toh chalungi..." she said "thik h chalo..." he said with a smile and they both left
