In the last part, we saw batuk agreeing proposal of getting married to shefalika after bishamber's death.

Let's continue,
Rani was redressing her hair and clothes. She was sitting on the stool infront of the dressing table emotionlessely. Rani covered her head with the dupatta of her lehenga.

"Hey dugga maa! Dekh toh, ab tere chehre par noon dikh rha h!" Rani said holding her chin softly. Shefalika gave a small smile and again relaxed her face muscles.

"Kya hua shefalika? Ab kis baat ki chinta dikh rhi h tere chehre par, ab toh sab theek ho rha h na. Neeyati ka khel dekh rhi hai? Maine tughe kaha tha na, ki tughe wahi milega jo tere naseeb mein hoga.

Toh dugga maa ne tere naseeb mein dactar sahab ka aana likha tha. Ye jo tere haatho ki mehendi mein ब likha h na, ye bishamber ke liye nhi, dactar sahab ke liye tha" she said showing her hand to her.

But the lines of tension didn't went from shefalika's face.

"Arre pagol ladki, ab toh khush ho jaa. Dactar sahab teri zindagi mein khushiyon ka ujaala lekr aaye hain" Rani said with a smile of satisfaction.

"Pata nhi Bua par, jo kuch bhi ho rha h uss par vishwas sa nhi ho rha. Itne saal maine itna kuch bura hote hue dekh liya hai ki ab, yakeen sa nhi ho rha ki mere saath bhi kuch achha ho skta h? Mere Jeevan mein bhi khushiyan aa skti hain? Kahin sab kuch bante bante fir bigad gya toh...." she said in a stressed and fearful voice.

"Nhi shefalika, shubh shubh bol!" Rani said placing her finger on shefalika's lips. "Ab tere Jeevan mein sab achha hone wala hai, tere Jeevan mein bhi khushiyan aane wali hain.

Kehte hain na, jab andhera badhane lage, toh smjh lena chahiye ki subha hone wali h. Bas, tere jeevan mein bhi wahi subha aane wali hai dactar sahab ke saath!

Ab toh tu bas apne naye Jeevan mein shubh aur mangal ki kaamna kar, aur ye sab baate aapne dimaag mein na laa!" Rani said with happy tears.

The lines of stressed got erased from shefalika's forehead and a small smile came on her face.

"Chal jldi chal ab, muhurat beeta jaa rha h!" Rani said.

Batuk was sitting on the mandap infront of holy fire. He was sitting emotionlessly and uninterestingly over there. The pandit was chanting the mantras. Anirudh and bondita were standing at one side and kaka and som on the other. Janaki was sitting in the mandap at left side of batuk.

"Ab aap vadhu ko bulaiya!" Pandit said.

"Ji pandit ji!" Janaki said and got up. As she turned to call shefalika, she saw that she was coming with rani downstairs. Janaki made a face and turned to sit down.

Shefalika came and sat besides batuk. She was emotionless, her face was white out of fear and sadness that something again might get happened. Batuk was sitting without any interest, like someone had tied him into this situation.

Pandit was chanting the mantras. "Ab var vadhu varmala aur phero ki rasam ke liye khade ho jaaye" pandit said. Batuk shefalika and janaki stood up.

Rani brought garland for shefalika and bondita brought for Batuk. They both took the garlands. First shefalika wore garland from batuk's hand. As shefalika raised her sight to make batuk wear the garland, she saw her face and all those happy moments came infront of her eyes which they spent together in the hospital. But then batuk's words started echoing in her ears

Dada aap kya bole jaa rhe ho? Maine bola na main ready nhi hu! Iss se meri aur shefalika dono ki zindagi kharab ho jayegi!!

Shefalika's pov,
Kya aap sach mein mughse shaadi nhi krna chahte? Kya aap sach mein mere saath apni zindagi nhi bitana chahte? Kya aap sach mein mughe apni patni nhi banana chahte? Kya aapne mughse kabhi pyaar hi nhi kiya? Kya jo maine aapki aankho mein dekha, jo aap ke saath rehkar mehsoos kiya, vo galat tha? Kya maine aapke kiye gaye har kaam ko galat samjha? Kya aapne mere liye jo apni fikar dikhayi, vo pyaar nhi tha? Agar pyaar nhi tha toh fir vo kya tha? Agar ye pyaar nhi hota toh pyaar kya hota h? Kaisa hota h pyaar? Pyaar kisko kehte hain fir?
