The Puja

Downstairs,
She went in the mandir and took blessings from dugga maa. Kaka came there. He saw bondita was in a deep concentration joining her hands. Kaka came quietly and sat near her. She completed her prayer and opened her eyes. She saw Kaka sitting beside her "Kaka... aap kab aaye..." she said putting her pallu on her head when Kaka stopped her "nhi bahu...". She got a little serious seeing Kaka saying like this "aaj nhi... aur aage bhi nhi... kyunki ab tum humari bahu nhi, humari beti ho..." Kaka said smilingly. A bright smile came on her face with tears in her eyes "haa bahu, tumne savitri ki tarah uski raksha ki hai, uske ache bure ka dhyaan rakha hai, humein aaj bhi yaad hai ki anirudh ki maa ne apne antim samay mein humse vada liya tha ki hum anirudh ke liye ek aisi patni dhundhke laaye, jo sirf patni ki tarah usse pyaar hi na de magar maa ki tarah uska dhyaan rakhe, uske har mushkil samay mein uske saath rahe aur aaj jab main tumhe dekhta hu, toh lagta hai ki apna vo vada maine pura kar liya hai" Kaka said with a sigh of relief "aisa nhi h Kaka, baat yeh hai ki maine akele kuch nhi kiya, yeh toh doctors ki dava aur parivaar ki duaon ka asar hai, ki aaj pati babu humare beech ek dam swasth hain" she said. The guests have started arriving there "arre... chalo aao mehman aa gaye hain" Kaka said and they both left.

At anirudh's side,
"Yaar yeh kurta itna tight kyu hain..." anirudh said "kurta toh kahin se tight nhi hain vo aapko stitches lagi hai na vahan se shayad aapko lag rha hoga. Vese kya lag rahe ho na aap iss red kurte mein" batuk said "arre idhar meri lagi padi hai, thoda loose kurta nhi hai kya iss mein toh lag raha hai ki jaan hi nikal jayegi" he said sitting on the sofa "dada maine check kiya,  aur koi kurta nhi hai aapko issi se kaam chalana hoga" somnath came and said "yeh bhi alag hi moosibat hai, chalo ab kya hi kar sakta hai koi" he said getting up from the sofa "ek min... main koi aur color bhi toh pehen sakta hu..." he said "pehen toh sakte hain, par kya hai na, agar aap yeh colour pehnenge" batuk said holding his arm "toh humari boudi ko bohot ache lagega" som completed holding his hand "arre par..." "par var kuch nhi abhi aap jaldi se chaliye" batuk said and pulled his arm

At the kitchen,
Bondita was taking the sooji out of the steel box to make halwa. Anirudh came quietly into the kitchen and stood still behind her back. She took the sooji into the container and turned around. Seeing him suddenly standing there, she got terrified and was about to fall "aa...aaraam se..." he caught her from her back and caught the container with his another hand "wh...what the hell" she freed her from his clutch and pushed him a little away "aap yahan par kab se the aur pehli baat toh aap yahan kar kya rahe hain... aapko iss wakt kamre mein bed pe lete hue hona chahiye tha na, yahan kya kar rahe hain aap...." she scolded him "aa.. aise toh mat bolo.... main thik gaya tha lete lete toh bahar thodi fresh hawa lene aaya tha" he said stretching his arms "toh yahan konsi fresh hawa hai, aapko fresh hawa leni hai toh bahar garden mein jaiye ya hall mein sabke paas jaake bethiye, yahan kyu aaye hain aap" she said putting the sooji into the pan "vese tum bana kya rahi ho" he asked going behind her "halwa bana rahi hu" she said stirring the mix "ooo... mera favorite hai isiliye na" he asked "hmm... malum hai ki yeh aapka favorite hai par aaj aap yeh nhi khayenge" she said getting up the stool "arre kyu? Main toh ekdam thik hu..." he said "thik hain.... kahan se thik hain aap... yeh, yeh dekh rhe hain" she said coming close to him such that there stomachs would touch "yeh yahan jo itna bada ghaav ban rakha hai haa.... shaanti rakhiye ab 1 hafte tak" she said touching his wound "ab halwa khayenge toh cholesterol thoda sa toh badhega, aur cholesterol badhega toh blood circulation mein problem hogi, blood ki thickness badh jayegi, fir platelets ko kaam karne mein dikkat hogi jisse clotting dheere hogi" she said turning her back to him and chopping the vegetables "aur fir aap thik kese honge" she said and turned around but he was not there "arre kahan gaye... kaam aa gaya hoga koi" she said and turned around. She wrapped off everything and came outside when someone pulled her to a corner "aahh..." she was going to shout when someone covered her mouth with his hand "sshhh.... main hu" it was anirudh over there "kya hua... mughe aise kyu khincha" she asked in a low voice "arre chalo vrat khol lo Chand nikal aaya hai" he said "arre par puja toh sabke saath hi karungi na aise kese" she said "maine Kaka se puch liya hai Kaka ne permission de di hai... tumne pure din se kuch nhi khaya hai abhi aur intezaar kese karogi" he said "kya matlab aapko kya lagta hai main bhukhi nhi rehe sakti" she said "arre nhi yaar maine aisa kab bola, mera matlab tha ki abhi bhookh nhi lagi hogi kya, pehle pura din daftar mein kaam kiya aur fir aate hi ghar mein kaam karne lag gayi" he said "haa thik h thik h... main aayi samaan leke" she said and left

Rooftop,
Bondita came with all the stuff at Rooftop. She the Rooftop was all decorated with lights and flowers. There were all flowers and paper lanterns over there. The moonlight falling on those white and pink flowers and those sweet little paper lanterns hanging on the walls and on the ropes sheding over the terrace, all were making the moment even more beautiful "dekho sajaya toh bohot acha hai, par sajana wale... kidhar ho aap" she said loudly putting the plate on the table nearby. Then someone suddenly threw rose petals on her from back. She immediately moved back and saw him smiling standing behind her "ahh... aap yeh..." she was amazed seeing his efforts "kyu madam, acha laga aapko yeh sab dekhkar..." he asked "haa acha toh bohot laga... par yeh karna ki kya zaroorat thi" she asked "aaa.... baat yeh h na ki tumhara pehle vrat hai toh kuch special toh hona chahiye, aur dusra yeh ki mehman bhi toh aaya hai toh impression acha padta hai" he said "toh Matlab yeh sab aapne mere liye nhi balki mehmaano pe impression jamane ke liye kiya" she said with fierce expression "arre nahi re aisa nhi hai... ab tum baate karti rahogi.... puja shuru karo" he said. She covered her head and did the rituals traditionally. Now he was going to make her drink the water but she stopped "ek min..." she uncovered her head and left in a hurry "arre par paani..." he tried to stop her but till that she already left "Kamal hai yeh bhi, paani nhi piya aur aise bhaagte hue gayi" he said to himself. After a few minutes she came running with a bowl in her hand. There was halwa in the bowl which she made. She sat on the table so that she could match with his height "muh kholiye...." she took a spoonful of halwa from the bowl and presented infront of him "arre bondita main kha lunga tum..." he was saying but she interrupted "nhi aap pehle khaiye toh.... mera mood acha kar diya aapne.... ab aap pehle khaiye fir main pakka paani pi lungi" she insisted. He opened his mouth and she fed him halwa "ab paani pee lo" he fed her water "ab jaake kuch kha lena thik hai" he said. She nodded with a smile "vese main kuch kar sakti hu kya" she asked "kya?" He asked. She kissed his cheek "I love you" she said pulling her one cheek with a bright smile and happy tears in her eyes. He smiled. He placed a soft kiss on her forehead "I love you too" he said with a smile "ab main jaati hu baakiyo ko bhi toh puja karni hai na" she said and went off the table "haa thik hai par kuch kha bhi lena" he said from behind "haa thik hai" she said while running outside. He kept blushing standing there
