Anirudh came in the house. The house was looking like an abandoned, death-like, lone and desolated house. He opened the door. It was all lonely and dark inside the house. It was around 10 pm at night. He stepped into the house. He was not completely in his senses. He saw the abandoned walls of the house. The scent of her hair was in the air blowing through the house. He could feel her presence by the scent of her perfume which was spread all in that house. He started hallucinating her voice. It seemed like she was there only. He saw the kitchen. He remembered the moments he spent with her in the morning. He went a few steps ahead towards the stairs "kya kar rahe hain khana nhi khana h kya?" Suddenly he heard her voice, it was coming from the kitchen "bondita!" He murmered her name and moved back. But no one was there. He closed his eyes out of sorrow and sat there on the stairs and started crying placing his head on the support of the stairs. Suddenly he dreamt of something. "Pati babu, pati babu bacha lijiye mughe, pati babu main aapse bohot dur chali jaungi. Yeh mughe aapse bohot dur ha..aah..." bondita was saying something to him but then pranam appeared and clutched her hair from the back "barrister babu, hum dono bohot khush hain, aap aa sakte hain toh aakr dikha dijiye, warna hum dono ek dusre ke saath bohot khush hai, hai na bondita!" He said abruptly caressing her face "na...nahi usse usse please kuch mat karna, bo...bonditaaa" he said kneeling down "pa..pati babuuuu..." she tried to go near him but then they both disappeared "anirudh, Anirudh uth" he opened his eyes with a jerk. He saw himself sitting on the stairs only. Arvind was trying to make him awake. He took a sigh of relief seeing that it was just a nightmare "anirudh, tu yahan kyu so raha tha?" Arvind asked "kuch nhi vo... shayad vo aankh lag gayi hogi!" He said rubbing his eyes "acha sun, mughe kuch Pata chala h!" He said opening a file "kya? Bondita ke baare mein kuch Pata chala hai?" He asked "aa..haa yeh dekh, yeh Pranam Shrivastava, isne varanasi ke liye reservation karayi thi, aur iski train aaj shaam 7:45 par thi" he said showing him his name in the row on page "par tab toh hum wahin the, iska...iska matlab humare saamne vo...." he said "aa...haa ho sakta h humse kahin galti ho gayi par ek cheez dekh, isne reservation 1 hafte pehle ki hi karayi h! Ab yeh soch ki isne 1 hafte pehle hi kyu aaj ki reservation karayi?" He asked "iska matlab yeh h, ki yeh bohot pehle se planning kar raha tha, kuch bhi achanak nhi hua h!" Anirudh exclaimed "haa, aur ek cheez, maine aaj join kiya na tab mughe Pata chala ki yeh pehle jail mein tha, aur 1 hafte pehle hi iski bail hui h" he said "kya? Par iske Case mein bail negligible thi. Judge sahab ne khud faisla kiya tha iska!" Anirudh said "Haa! Soch anirudh, iske case mein bail negligible thi fir bhi iski bail hui, yeh sirf tabhi ho sakta h agar iske powerful connections ho, Politically Powerful Connections!" Arya said "lekin yeh ho kaise sakta h, bondita ne mughe bataya tha ki yeh politically ya economically strong background se nhi h, iske father kisaan h, aur iski maa factory worker." He said "nhi! Kuch toh h, koi toh h jo iski help kr raha h. Aur jisne iski help ki h na jail se bahar aane mein, ussi ne iss se boudi ka kidnap karvaya hoga! Kyunki ab baat sirf pranam ke junoon ki nhi h, baat ab kisi ke badle ki bhi h" he said "toh iska matlab pranam ki kisi ne help ki h apni personal dushmani bondita se nikalne ke liye" Anirudh said "Aur ek cheez, usne pranam ko hi kyu chuna, kyunki vo jo koi bhi h jisne pranam ki bail karayi vo financially strong h. Toh agar vo financially strong h toh vo aaraam se koi 2-3 aadmiyo ko bolke yeh same cheez karva sakta tha, usne pehle pranam ki bail karayi aur fir yeh kaam kiya" Arvind said "toh uss insaan ne aisa isiliye kiya hoga kyunki vo jaanta h ki pranam se yeh kaam karana aasaan hoga kyunki usse already bondita se aur mere se problems hain!" Anirudh said "Haa! Iska matlab yeh h ki vo jo koi bhi h, usse bondita se bhi problem h, vo politically aur financially strong bhi h aur vo pranam ko bhi jaanta h! Anirudh zara soch, aisa koi ho sakta h kya?" He asked. He started thinking "...nhi yaar meri nazar mein aisa koi nhi h!" He said "acha aisa koi jisse bondita se problem ho, dekh hum pehle hi uss insaan ko arrest nhi karenge hum pehle uska background check karenge, agar vo suspicious nikla toh hi hum usse questioning karenge!" He said. All of a sudden Anirudh started thinking of sampurna "anirudh, Bata na h koi? Koi toh hoga, tughe toh Pata hi hoga!" He asked "Arvind mughe nhi pata yeh sahi h ki nhi par, aisa ek hi insaan lagta h mughe, jo yeh kar sakta h!" He said "kon? Iss wakt har vo insaan jisse bondita se problem thi ek suspect. Bata kon h?" He asked "sampurna! Mere baba ki dusri wife. Vo bondita ke mama ki beti h, matlab uski behen...." he started telling him about everything that happened in the past few days "fir toh iss wakt sabse badi suspect sampurna hai! Thik h main investigation shuru karta hu, jaise hi kuch Pata lagega main tughe contact karunga" he said. Anirudh nodded seeing towards the floor "anirudh, honsla rakh, tughe kamzor nhi padna h, tughe boudi ko dhundhna bhi h na!" He said placing his hand on his shoulder. He nodded placing his hand on his hand "chal tu aaraam kar, raat bohot ho gayi h, main chalta hu!" He said getting up "thik h aaraam se jaana" he too got up. Arvind patted his back and left. Anirudh again sat on the stairs thinking about what all is happening and there only he slept.
