I have the ability to see colors coming out of people. Before the pandemic, people had been emitting the vibrance of different colors. Passionate red, joyful yellow, peaceful blue, and more colors from the spectrum. The atmosphere was filled with astonishing colors indicating people's moods. When the pandemic happened and people were confined within their houses, I noticed the colors were not so vibrant anymore. They still filled the atmosphere, but over time, these colors became of darker shades. I would describe it as gloomy shades though. I would often look at my colors at the mirror, a screaming yellow that I still had even before the pandemic. I promised myself to keep my color as vibrant as ever no matter what might happen. Earlier though, after a whole day of yelling, malicious name-calling, and inwardly sobbing, I looked at myself at the mirror again after months of not seeing myself. My color turned into the gloomiest shade of gray.
