The smell of petrichor emanated in the air as I walked towards the next street with my earphones on and my umbrella shielding me from the rainy weather. I was Argus-eyed as a lot of people were walking on the opposite direction of me, with umbrellas equally drenched with rain water. While walking, my eyes landed on two people, their hands both grabbing their umbrellas with smiles on their faces that gave out radiance amidst the gloomy atmosphere. Bitterly, I hurriedly walked past by them, because seeing them made me remember things I desperately wanted to forget but never could. In fact, walking down this street everyday was a nightmare for this was the same path we walked to when our love was more radiant than the sun's beams on a sunny day. Now, it's just full of floodwaters of agonizing memories that still haunted me to this day.
