"denki." y/n's soft fingers tapped on the shoulder of the lonely boy in front of her. he jumped at the sudden contact, turning around and taking a moment to look who is before him.
he almost couldn't contain his excitement. here stood shoto todoroki, y/n l/n and momo yaoyorozu about to request him specifically to be on their team.
"would you like to join us?" todoroki asked, y/n extending a hand out for the yellow haired boy to take upon his agreement.
"i'd be honoured." he could have burst, short circuited in that very moment but mentally hit himself to try and get himself under control.
he took y/n's hand and she pulled him towards the empty spot where todoroki had instructed they go. she exited the her wings outwards and allowed todoroki to get onto her back first, headbands with the four students point wrapped around his head.
secondly momo stepped onto y/n's right side, holding y/n and todoroki for support while denki did the same on the other side.
"everyone comfortable?" y/n questioned, earning a confirmation from each one of them. she then spread her legs a little further to each side and curved her wings slightly around denki and momo.
when the battle begins everyone rushed towards midoriya's team but y/n did as todoroki instructed and hung back.
once most of the teams had attempted and failed to revive the 10 millions points from izuku, todoroki ordered they go in.
y/n moved swiftly through the crowd, but to no ones surprise, everyone avoided them. everyone's eyes were set on the 10 millions points.
denki was quick to follow todoroki's orders, electrocuting everyone before the leader used his ice to freeze everyone to the ground.
with every team in the close range paralysed, y/n flew round each one, momo and denki grabbing each head band they could get their hands on, placing them on todoroki's head.
the team then charges towards the number one suddenly, hoping to take them by surprise.
tokoyami is quick to attack, but momo made a shield for shoto just in time as y/n took sight of the malfunctioning back pack midoriya wore.
y/n and her team worked to push the others into a corner, giving them no room to move or think. but izuku begins to take jabs at todoroki, questioning the lack of him using his left side.
simultaneously, y/n started to bring her wings forward, concealing momo, denki and herself in the process. todoroki having his face still on show.
y/n assumed the boy had caught on to her actions, but didn't draw attention to it, continuing his conversation with midoriya.
in one swift motion, y/n's wings shot backwards flinging her and the team forward at a rapid speed. as the teams passed one another todoroki reached out and takes izuku's headband.
during the encounter y/n left wing got damaged against dark shadow, leaving her to only leg movement.
midoriya and his team then charge towards the other, the green hair boy activating his quirk forcing shoto to ignite his flames in defence.
wishing the last few seconds of the match, izuku manages to snatch one of the headbands from around todoroki's neck. the one the believe to be the 10 million.
"midoriya, this is only worth 70 points." mei's voice announces, confirming the team's plan of switching the headbands had worked.
upon midoriya's second charge, bakugo's team also pushed towards the 10 million points, but just as the three teams are about to meet, the timer runs out.
