"i have reasoning as to why i haven't confessed to todoroki yet."

"yeah right mo, you're just looking for some way to get out of this. news flash! not happening! mina had to do it, i had to do it, so there is now way in hell i'm letting you not do it!"

momo raised her finger in a graceful manner, halting either girls from interrupting her any further. "i would have liked to keep this a secret, but it seems i no longer can. i desire to confess to him when i visit i-island next week. the reason i would have liked to keep this a secret is because i would have liked to suprise not only you two, but mina as well with tickets to accompany me."

y/n and kyoka stood in disbelief as their friend explained her plan, both had assumed she was going to make up and excuse, giving her an opening to getting out of y/n'a tactics but she had clearly planned this out.

"you really got your life set out huh, momo?" jiro chuckled ever so lightly, earring a warm smile from the raven haired girl, followed by a nod. "you really are in love-"

"shush." the girl waved her hands in front of the others face as her eyes scanned the kitchen. worries someone had walked in while she was talking and overheard the conversation entirely. "please don't speak of this, not even to mina. if i can't surprise you two, at least i can surprise her."

both girls nodded with a smile, their upcoming trip being the only thing on their minds now. no crushes, no confessions. a vacation.

y/n then parted from the two remaining girls and found bakugo, slouched down on the sofa. he was observing y/n as she pulled away from her discussion with her friends but diverted his eyes as soon as she turned around.

"hey fireworks." she greeted, slumping down next to him, "enjoying yourself?" it was clear he wasn't, but the girl simply couldn't resist teasing the boy in the hopes she would spot the angered look on his face that always seemed to amuse her.

he did just that, turning to her slowly. "does it look like i'm having a good time here princess?"

princess? that was new.

although it was a common nickname amongst couples, both could tell he didn't intend to use it in that manor. but simply to annoy her.

y/n fell into a flustered state at the newest nickname he had given her, only making her sinister smirk disappear, a new one now appearing on bakugo's lips.

she looked up slightly to meet his bright red eyes and shook her head, knitting her eyebrows together while doing so. "i don't like that one." she huffed, frowning as the word sipped from the boys lips.

"tough luck princess, i don't like fireworks. think of this as a punishment." he chuckled, oi stretching his arms on the back of the sofa behind him and y/n.

both teens scowled at each other as they continued to bicker over the nicknames they had given to one another. and within all the chaos, neither had spotted two pairs of female eyes glued onto them, accompanied by a smirk on each.
