8:02am.

"i'm here!" y/n huffed, her hands were on her knees as she tried to catch her breath. "i woke up at 7:45." the girl explained her excuse, to which hawks tutted playfully.

"no worries kid, i'll let you off this time." he chuckled before clapping his hands together, gaining attention from everyone that stood in the gym. "right guys, everyone welcome y/n l/n."

"welcome to the agency!" a handful of the trainers greeted in unison, only causing y/n's smile to grow wider.

"thank you for having me!" she bowed down towards all the trainers, truly grateful.

"today y/n, we will be focusing on your wings. given i don't know much about your quirk i would like you to be able to also use your wings as a weapon." hawks gestured to the angelic white wings that sprouted from your back.

"let us begin."

11:00am.

keigo, washi and y/n walked down the busy streets of fukuoka. all three of them dressed in their hero suits, and calling each other by their hero names.

hawks, great-eagle and cupid.

"hawks who is this new hero with you?"

"miss, are you another one of hawks side kicks?"

"the newest member of his team?"

"who are you?"

"are you dating anyone?"

questions flooded in from each and every direction, flashes of cameras blinded the girl's eyes. noticing this, washi stepped in front of her slightly, shielding her eyes from the bright lights.

"settle down!" hawks ordered, still keeping to his friendly personality. not wanting to give the press the wrong idea. "this is my newest intern...cupid."

"cupid? does your quirk have anything to do with the name?"

"did you seduce him into taking you?"

"show us your quirk cupid!"

"are you from the ua hero course?"

the questions didn't stop, hawks frowned slightly. if he had known they would have gotten overly swarmed like this, he wouldn't have had her tag along. but then on the other hand, she will have to get used to it if she decides to become a hero.

"you may see my quick when it is necessary." she answered sternly, smiling directly into one of the nearby cameras of the press. "for now i will work on keeping the streets of fukuoka safe!"

the small crowd that had formed around them erupted into cheers, clearly satisfied with the young and up coming hero's answer.

"well done kid." hawks praised, "now...who wants an autograph?"

12:34pm.

"god my hand is cramping so bad." y/n whined, attempting to squeeze her hand hard enough for the cramping to stop.

"y/n that won't do you any good." washi too the girl's hand and began to massage her palm firmly, "let me know if it hurts, it should help."

it seemed to help the cramping drastically, the pain having disappeared. but washi still help and massaged the girl's hand with a smile.

"tsunagu! it's lovely to see you!" keigo greeted, y/n's back was to whoever he was talking to.

"thank you so much for this washi-senpai, my hand feels ten times better!" the girl stretched out her fingers, sighing at the relief of her hand muscles.

"y/n, i said no formalities."

"sorry washi." she rubbed the back of her neck nervously at the older boy's words. so intimidating.

"nerd?!"

y/n turned suddenly at the rough calling of her familiar nick-name. the eyes she met were the last pair she was expecting to turn around to meet.

blood red pupils stared back at you.

"bakugo?!"
