a questionable save.

"hey! since it's private land, you can use your quirks as you wish!" a voice echoed through the forest, the pink car was leaning over the ledge the students stood on moments before. "you have three hours! come to the facility on your own two feet! after getting through...the beast's forest!"

"'the beasts forest'?" the class asked aloud, turning to one another after hearing the name.

"that's sound like it came out of dragons quest!"

"ua does stuff like this way too much." y/n whined, pulling kyoka to her feet.

"it's a hero school extra, what do you expect?" bakugo scowled, tutting at the girls complaints. "now quit complaining."

"oh shut up." y/n scoffed beneath her breath, putting her middle finger up at the boy once he turned his back.

he spun on his heel and crossed his arms. "got something to say nerd?" he smirked, overhearing the girl's words.

"i said shut up!" y/n almost shouted, the forest being so deep her voice echoed throughout the trees.

"i'll shut you up, you little-" bakugo launched himself forward towards the girl, explosions crackled in his palms.

"not before i-" y/n did the same, closing the space between them. it was as if a red aura was coming off the two as the distance became smaller, and smaller and-

"l/n, bakugo, we must work together." tenya held them both apart, a hand on each of their chests. "now stop fighting and let's get to work." he removed his hands from the pair, then swung his arm up and down in between them.

"i held it! i held it!" mineta sped into the forest, holding his stomach. "now to hide in the shadows in the shadows and..."

a loud, booming noise pulled the classes attention away from the yelling mineta. their eyes widened in horror as they learnt where the forest had gained it's name.

"it's...a beast!"

koda rushed in, hoping to use his quirk to have the creature stand down. "calm down, kind beast." he spread his arms in an attempt to help. "stay back!"

the beast raised it's hand, about to attack. y/n felt frozen, as if she could move her legs. she watched as its claw came closer and closer. she couldn't save him.

thankfully, midoriya had swooped in, grabbing koda and pulling him out of the way in time to dodge the beast's attack.

this creature was no animal. dirt fell from its arm, this beast was made from the materials around them. dirt, stone, grass, wood.

the beast stepped closer, mineta being in the close perimeter to it. great, i've got to do it.

y/n pushed off the ground and flew towards the grape haired boy, she grabbed the back of his collar and held him until she landed safely with the rest of the students.

"don't!" y/n ordered, raising her finger to the air. jiro and ashido both turned to her with questionable looks, knowing the class would be better if mineta wasn't a part of it. while the perverted boy looked up at her in awe, muttering about how, 'he knew she loved him really'.

midoriya had streaks of glowing red cover his skin as he charged one for all. todoroki's ice emerged from his foot and aimed for the beast.

it's foot was frozen in place, deeming it immobile. tenya was now in the air, swinging his leg towards the side of it's head. "reciproburst!"

"die!" bakugo familiarly shouted, his hand popping with explosions.

both boys collided with each side of its head, causing it to fall to pieces.

the beast had fallen to pieces.

but the class had a feeling there was more to come.
