ᴍᴀᴅᴇʟʏɴ"Hello, Madelyn." The woman at the front desk greeted. I gently waved at her with a smile. I was visiting the boys at their job today. I loved being at their office because it was so cool.
The bodyguards guided me to the elevator. On the way to it, I got lots of greetings. Everyone seemed to know me here. So cool.
I did the honors on pressing the button up to their floor. I watched as the round button lit up. The ride up was quick and in no time I was in front of their office door. I was about to knock when the bodyguards suddenly opened the door.
"Oh." I mumbled softly. I was quick to thank him and walked in. I looked around in the office, admiring it even though I've been in it many times.
"Baby." I heard Haru's voice, resulting in a small flinch from me. I glanced over at them to see them gazing at me with soft eyes. "Sorry, sweetheart. Come here."
I smiled a little and walked over to them. I set my small purse down and took my place on Haru's lap. I snuggled comfortably into him and let my eyes flutter closed. His warm arms were wrapped around me making the cold office air instantly go away.
"How was class?" I heard Nick ask quietly.
"Good. Lots of homework." I mumbled softly. My hands fiddled with the buttons on Haru's white dress shirt. He rubbed my back as Nick hummed at my response.
"Can you handle it or do you need help?" Haru asked.
"I can do it." I said, laying my head against his hard chest. For the next few minutes I spent them snuggling on Haru's lap. My body was weak at this moment and I didn't want to get up at all.
The good thing was I didn't have to. The boys didn't have any meetings today which meant it was just work. More time with them. Yay.
"Can we have fast food dinner today? Please?" I quietly asked. I wasn't sure they'd say yes at all.
"Of course, baby. We'll finish up here and then we can head out at about six." Noah said, checking his watch. I smiled and nodded, feeling all giddy at the fact that they agreed. I've been wanting to eat out for a while now.
It was only five so we had a little while before we could head out. I slid off Haru's lap and went towards one of their shelves where my coloring book and colored pencils were.
The boys always kept it there for when I visited and was bored. I grabbed them and went to sit at the coffee table at the corner of their office. I opened up my book and started coloring on a new page.
I would've done homework but I had left my school bag at home. I continued on my coloring page, busying myself as the boys did their work.
Time passed and soon enough we were on our way to McDonald's. I smiled as the sign of the drive-thru came up. I skimmed through the menu as the car before us ordered. I picked the chicken nuggets meal. Nick ordered it for me since I wasn't good at communicating with strangers.
The boys insisted i'd wait until we get home to eat. That was the reasoning for the pout that now took over my lips. We were only a few minutes away from home so I waited patiently.
The familiar building came into my view and Haru helped me out of the back seat. We made it to the elevator and up to the penthouse which was warm.
