ɴɪᴄᴋI entered the penthouse with Haru with a pharmacy bag in my hand. We went to go pick up some medicine as Madelyn had gotten sick with the flu.
We had no idea where she could have gotten it from but the three of us were now taking care of her. She was very weak which was why Noah had stayed with her while we went out.
The poor girl couldn't get up without collapsing on the floor. Haru went towards our bedroom while I went to grab a spoon. I took the medicine out of the bag and got to our bedroom. I heard our girl's cute sneeze and went to crouch down in front of her, in between my brother's.
"How's my baby, hm?" I asked, brushing her hair out of her face. Her nose and cheeks were a pinkish red color and her eyes looked tired. She quietly whimpered and frowned.
"She has a headache, itchy throat and runny nose." Noah informed. I nodded and opened up the medicine bottle. I poured some onto the spoon and held it up to her lips. She took the liquid into her mouth and swallowed.
"Water, please." Her small weak voice said. Haru kissed her forehead and went to get a bottle of water. He quickly came back and helped her take a few sips. She thanked him and let her eyes flutter closed.
"That's it, baby. Have some rest." Noah kissed her head. Haru and I followed after and left her to sleep. She didn't have classes because of her being sick which meant she'd probably be stressed out with school work for the next few days.
But that was something we didn't want. Mads shouldn't have to stress or worry about anything. "I'll make a call to the school and see if anyone can get the work done for her."
We each decided to clean up the house and but away Madelyn's mess—which she was probably not aware of. It was just her stuffies scattered all over the place along with her colored pencils and coloring book. We didn't mind as she was pretty happy.
Haru was already in the kitchen cooking up some lunch. Noah and I helped after cleaning up everything. Lunch was soon plated and on the table. We set down glasses of water with each plate. I went to get Madelyn up.
She was still sound asleep. Her small naked body wrapped in the sheets. She had told us she felt more comfortable sleeping without clothes and her body seemed to be a good temperature due to that.
I crouched down and brushed my fingers through her hair. "My love." I whispered, kissing her head. A small groan left her pink plump lips. "It's lunch time." Her eyes gently fluttered open.
She looked pale which worried me. I opened the nightstand dresser where one of my fresh black shirts were neatly folded. I helped her sit up and change into one of them.
Afterwards, I carried her in my arms to the table. She'd eat off of my plate since it was already known that she wouldn't want to sit and eat by herself.
I sat her down, sideways on my lap. Her head was snuggled against my chest as she let out a small cough. "Sorry, bubs." Her weak voice said. I shook my head and kissed hers.
"There's nothing to be sorry for, baby. Open up." I held the spoonful of the soup we made to her lips. She quietly ate with us. Haru had draped a blanket over her as she was shivering.
She had finished up the plate with with me and drank half of her glass of water. I stood up and carried her small body bridal style over to our bedroom. I laid her down in bed and helped her sit up. Noah fluffed up some pillows and put them behind her back and head.
