ᴍ ᴀ ᴅ ᴇ ʟ ʏ ɴI slowly woke up to the sound of crying. The bed was empty and I decided to check the time on my phone. It was two in the morning. I slowly got out of bed.
The boys were in the kitchen when I opened our room door. I watched Haru wipe under his eyes and take a sip of a dark drink. I think it was beer, I don't know.
"You'll be fine." Nick said. He nodded. I walked up to them and gave them each a hug. I was only able to reach their waists though. They froze when they saw me.
"Maddie, what the hell are you doing up? You have school tomorrow." Nick said in a stern tone. I frowned and pulled away, looking up at them.
"I woke up b-because I heard Haru c-crying. I couldn't go back to sleep." I explained in a soft, whimpery tone. They each shook their heads at me.
"Go back to sleep, baby." Noah said in a soft tone. I walked back to our room and got back into the sheets. I felt a tear slip from the fact that Nick practically yelled at me.
The boys soon came into the room and heard my small sniffle. I failed at trying to make it unnoticeable. "What's wrong now?" Noah asked in a soft tone. I shook my head.
"S-Sorry.." I murmured. He seemed really mad about me waking up. I didn't know why though? Did I do something bad?
"For what, baby? Don't cry, I hate seeing you like this." I frowned and sat up, looking at Nick. He was the one who made me cry.
"Stop it, Nick.. you always make me cry." I sniffled. He froze before sitting beside me. He looked into my eyes with all seriousness and brushed my hair from my face.
"I'm so sorry baby.. I wasn't aware, okay? I could get really angry and annoyed sometimes but I don't want you to think that I'll hurt you." Nick said, kissing my forehead tenderly. I smiled softly and leaned into him.
...
"Little baby, wake up." I heard Noah say, pecking my cheek. I groaned softly and snuggled deeper into my pillow, pulling the blanket over me.
They each chuckled. "How cute." Haru said. I squealed when I was lifted off the bed. Nick took me into the bathroom and kissed my forehead.
"Shower and get ready for school." He murmured before walking out and shutting the door. I huffed and undressed before getting into the warm shower.
I finished bathing and got dressed. I did my morning routine and got dressed into a pretty short black skirt and a cashmere sweater.
I walked out of the bathroom and into the kitchen where the boys were. I pecked each of their lips and giggled softly. They eyed me down with a look in their eyes I couldn't decipher.
