(8) We Keep On Dreaming

      It was my lunch break from work and I sat with Joel. I wanted to talk to him about Aleksi.

     "Aleksi hasn't been taking my calls after the party. Do you know why?" Joel asks me. Of course I knew, the poor boy is in love with you!

    "Not sure, he hasn't spoken to me about it.Why is there something you're thinking about?" I ask Joel.

     "Actually I don't know if I'm gay, but I think I'm bisexual. There's just something about Aleksi." Joel says.
I nod listening and I  sip my mocha and nod.

   "What do you mean? Are you into him?" I ask Joel. Joel's blue eyes look at me and his cheek start to flush, that means yes.

   "Yes I think I'm into him." Joel says and that makes me smile.

   "Awe Joelski! That's so fucking cute!" I said to him with a smile.

    "Wait what? You made us a ship name!" Joel blurted out, I nodded. Joel starts to chuckle, it was interesting to see Joel so open usually he's the cold one.

     "Why are you asking me these questions?" Joel asks me and I sigh and say.

     "Aleksi is my best friend and I love him! I love you too Joel because you're my friends. I need to know what your intentions are so you don't lead him on." I said to the blonde haired vocalist who nodded.

     "I would never lead Aleksi on." Joel says and I mention the party.

      "He saw you kissing that girl and was disheartened. So Joonas, Aleksi and I watched Suicide Squad." I said. Then Joel stuck around the salon.

    "Can I come with you to see Aleksi?" Joel asks me as I cut my clients hair and nod.

   "How's everything with you and Joonas going?" Joel asks me, since I had a break.

    "It's going well! I still can't believe we're together." I say with a smile. Joel hugs me.

    "I'm happy you found your happiness and even Joonas seems happier and more excited." Joel says to me. "You're good for him!" He says.

      My work day ended, Joel and I were walking casually catching and fans asking him for photographs and autographs.

   "I'm kind of nervous!" Joel says, shoving his hands into his leather jacket.

"About what?" I ask.

"Seeing Aleksi." Joel says to me, awe he's in love!

"He'll love to see you!" I said, while we both walked up the stairs to our flat and I unlocked it. Aleksi sat on his kitchen island, working on something.

"Honey I'm home!" I called out, he looks up and smiles at me. Then his smile drops when he sees Joel.

"Uh why is he here Mira?" Aleksi asks me.

"Because Aleksi I think it's time for you and Joel to talk. A real conversation." I said, Aleksi shook his head no.

"I don't have anything to say to him!" The black haired one says, looking back at his screen. Joel was standing there with a sad puppy dog look on his face.

"I'll go Mira thanks for trying!" Joel says and gives me a tight hug and leaves. Leaving Aleksi and I alone.

"Oh Aleksi. What was that about?" I ask him.

"I cannot do it Miranda! I'm in love with my band mate. And I'm going to mess it up. I cannot allow myself to grow close to him." Aleksi says to me. I understood that.
