CHAPTER 5

Days have passed and Berto became my company since the day I talked to him in a nice way. I finally open myself to him trusting that he can be a good friend of mind since he often stand by my door. Lagi pa rin akong dinadalhan ng pagkain tuwing almusal. I wonder what he does to wake up too early and where he gets his everday energy. Seems like he's not draining. He has the spirit of everyday liveliness in every morning . It also gotten to the point that I asked him his business in Korea and he said that he's working for an electronic company.

I think it is already a month since we become friends. I just sit in my terrace when he is at work and I get bored whenever he's not around. Wala man lang mapagtiyagaang korni jokes. But of course I am living on my own. Hindi pa naman ako ganoon ka-baldado para umasa sa kanya. Haha I am not his obligation. Nakakabagot lang talaga kapag mag-isa. Just imagine that, bulag ka na  nga at wala kang makita tapos ang tahimik pa. Di ko tuloy maiwasang mag daydream. Feel ko kasi that I am flying so my thoughts hehe. Nasasanay lang yata ako sa kakulitan niya.

At pinanindigan niya talagang ako ang tour guide ah. He insisted that we again will travel on his next day off. I just agreed and didn't make any argument since I'm starting to root in my place and as usual, he asked my I idea. I didn't see that we will be as closed like this as friends. An annoying and an inclement neighbors.

I woke up early today since it is the agreed trip.I composed myself and as usual, we shared a meal. Nagtataka lang ako bakit mas gusto niya tumambay sa bahay ko kesa sa bahay niya.

"Paneng halika na, kain muna tayo!"  sigaw niya mula sa labas. Sakto namang tapos na ako sa pag-aayos ng sarili.

I came out to approach him.

"So where do you plan to go?"  I started as we begin to eat.

"Uhm gusto ko sana magkaroon din tayo na adventure e. Pero hindi yung tipong mamatay tayo ha, just that one that is enough to give us a little palpitation hehe." he replied while chewing.

I suggested to him that we are going to visit Everland this time, a famous theme park in South since he said that he wanted to have some adventures and sight seeings and Everland was the very first thing that came in my mind.

"Okay, and Everland is the perfect place to be. Medyo may kalayuan nga lang hihi."  I warned.

"Luh, kaya ba ng budget ko yan?" he jokingly laughed a little.

"Ewan ko sa'yo haha. Ikaw ang gagala dapat madami ka pera haha." I teased.

"Ahm okay lang kahit malayo basta ikaw ang kasama ko. Willing akong mapunta kahit saan." A serious tone but I sensed a smirk.

"Ang  korni mo talaga!" binato ko sa kanya ang tissue na ginamit kong pamunas ng bibig ko. "halika na nga baka hindi natin maabutan yung masasakyan natin at kapusin tayo ng oras. Wag kang mag-alala ginoo, I'm not charging you anymore." I declared.

"Hah, what do you mean?"  I felt his confusion.

"Di na kita sisingilin. Tama na sa akin bilang kabayaran ang ginagawa mong pagsama sakin dito sa bahay ko. Nakakabaliw kaya mag-isa."

"Kung gano'n magsama na tayo para dalawa na tayo." panukso niya.

"Magsama kayo ng mga preso sa bilangguan gusto mo?" I raised my right brow and showed him my fist.
