Han was walking around by himself searching for his beloved mate.
He looked around the area that he told his love to wait for him until he came back home, but saw no signs of where his mate could be.
He went to the garden the one place he knew his beloved enjoyed staying, and considering how tall the hedge was and the many flowers there were, his mate could hide among them without being scene.
He started to worry after his search took so long and sat down near a set of pink roses.
"Where are you? My love, please tell me no one found you." Han said as a tear started to go down his cheek.
He sensed a presence behind him and he whirled around only.to look into the lovely purple eyes that made Han's heart sore, the red gem placed perfectly on their forehead and the soft smooth pink fur that was groomed to perfection.
His beloved mate had been playing games with him again and before he could say anything or react, his mate came up and licked his cheek.
"You are so easy to follow my darling." The smooth silky voice of his mate was enough to put down any anger that was developing inside of Han.
"Well, you do tend to find ways to surprise me every time Nava." Said Han
The espeon smiled as his tail swayed behind him. He caresses Han's cheek with a front paw.
"I sense you were getting scared and angry, so I decided to reveal myself instead of continuing my game. I could also tell that you were troubled by something much greater." Said Nava.
"Yes. The sylveon kingdom was stressful to say the least. There was almost a war between them and the glaceons, and my sister Tara became one and somehow became..." Han was saying before he was hushed by the paw of his mate.
"My love let us go to the lake so you may reflect there and not pour all your emotions out at once. I want to hear of your trip, but I don't want you upset while doing it. Also it appears you are in need of one of my treatments." Nava said winking at Han.
If Han wasn't a flareon, the blush on his face may have been more noticable.
"You always know what I need." Han said before leaning in and kissing Nava on the lips.
Nava purred into the kiss before teleporting them to their favorite and most secret location.
Once there, Han did as was expected and laid down on the soft moss bed that they made under a large oak tree.
Nava sat right next to him and placed his paws on Han's shoulders and began to put pulses through his paws and onto the location of where they were placed. Han breathed in deep as he felt the stress slowly melt away from the psychic pulses being applied to him.
"How did I end up so lucky to have a male like you?" Han asked.
"Because I ran away from home wanting to escape the messed up situation my kingdom was in and you were the only one who could find me. You are also the only one who didn't judge me for what I was." Said Nava.
"I couldn't stop staring at you when we first met either. You were the most gorgeous creature I ever saw." Han said reminiscing about the days he first met Nava.
Nava purred again as they continued to recollect on their memories as it caused his mate to be truly happy.
"And you were so handsome, standing before me with such pride to be a flareon. You are also so strong." Nava said moving one paw over Han's front leg and another on his thigh.
He was rewarded with Han giving an unexpected moan and a look back from his mate.
The moment they locked eyes was exactly like the moment they first met.
Han was staring up with such pride while Nava looked down with curiosity. Both included their own love for one another.
"You have to do that?" Said Han teasingly.
"Of course. If I didn't, how would your muscles have a chance to relax and recover from such a long journey? Not like you'd let me touch your paws." Nava said and gave a sly smirk.
Han gulped and nearly tried to dig his paws into the moss as if to hide them.
"We aren't doing that again." Said Han.
"Because you are still ticklish there my handsome elite?" Teased Nava.
Han gave a playful growl before rolling onto his back and making Nava land on his stomach before wrapping his front legs around his mate and kissed him.
They remained like they for a few minutes before breaking off to breath.
"I wish we could show everyone our love. I wish it wasn't forbidden to have an espeon for a mate." Said Han.
Nava leaned against his mate and laid his tail with Han's.
"I know. But it will be this way for awhile longer. Maybe for the rest of our lives." Said Nava.
"Something has to be done to change this!" Said Han who attempted to sit up, but was pushed down by Nava.
Nava made Han look at him as he began to tear up.
"Don't get upset over something we can't change. You already have enough stress on you. I don't want you to have anymore." Said Nava with a strict tone in his voice.
"We can't change anything right now and if you reveal me, you will lose your elite status and possibly be exiled. I don't want to see you lose your family and your rank that you worked so hard to achieve." Nava started crying through his lecture. His tears staining the fur on his cheeks.
Han frowned seeing his true love cry which he couldn't resist crying with him.
He pulled Nava close again as they both laid next to the lake, the sun high above them.
Nothing else mattered in that moment to either of them except the warm embrace of each other.
"I'll never leave you no matter what happens, Nava! Losing you will be what tears my world apart." Said Han.
Nava remained quiet. Han would argue with him as they have before about how he wouldn't leave.
Nava was happy about that fact, but he still didn't want to leave his family.
Oh how he wanted to be in a happy family, adopt children and raise them alongside Han.
But the alliance still didn't recognize espeons as equals. In fact he could sense the fear when he first came to the alliance years ago.
Flareons, jolteons, vaporeons, and eevees all fled at the sight of him or tried to attack him. It was a nightmare that he tried to escape and came into another one.
Had it not been for Han, Nava may have been dead, imprisoned or even worse sent back to his home.
He trembled and felt Han's embrace tighten.
"Nothing bad will happen to us." Whispered Han.
"No. Nothing ever will." Whispered Nava.
Nava was preoccupied with Ha that his senses were unable to sense anything else around them. That could be dangerous to them, but Nava didn't care right now. Only Han mattered.
Nearby, a pair of eyes watched on before disappearing into the tall grass.
