The new beginning of love

After several hundred years of constant warfare with each other, there came a peace across the land mainly due to lack of funds from kingdoms who preferred to stay away from war to focus on building up their lands and riches.
Each kingdom kept to themselves for several decades making many of the kingdoms thrive in their own ways. Some of the kingdoms started up arenas to make their own kind battle each other and crown a champion. The fans of these arenas seemed to enjoy it and the royal families as well who even took part in the battles themselves.
The kingdoms focused on the arenas for hundreds of years and the ones that ran their respective arenas gained wealth from them along with the royal families, also their fighters gained fame across the lands and where some of the most influential of their kind. Every young eeveelution wanted to grow up and be a arena fighter or an elite to the royal families. They wanted to bring honor to their families anyway they could, but most found out that their dreams couldn't come true.
The queen's and princesses' royal guards were known as maidens as their only focus was on guarding their royal family members. None of the maidens were allowed to have mates or families of their own, after taking the oath of maidenhood.
During the height of the arenas popularity two royal family members were the pride and joy of their territories. Prince Jayce of the Jolteon kingdom was undefeated and reigning champion for two years into his arena battles. His record wasn't undefeated because he was prince, he made sure he was going to have a fight and that no one took it easy on him. He desired to be the best by beating the best even though he was the heir to the Jolteon throne and oldest son to King Jake and Queen Sarah.
The Jolteons formed a alliance through the arenas with the flareons who both started a friendly trade of diamonds from the flareons for copper and other precious metals from the Jolteons which brought the two kingdoms even closer.
The other royal family member was Princess Coral who was also undefeated and reigning champion of the Vaporeon kingdom, but she had been fighting for three years and only made an appearance when she knew she had to defend her title or she would have a fair fight. She was the daughter of King Atlantis and Queen Riveria. Princess Coral's beauty was unmatched and even talked about in the other territories. She was often called "the purest pearl of the oceans"
The Vaporeon remained nuetral under their royal family and preferred it that way, until one day the Jolteons persisted in their princess battling their prince and made many offered, but the Vaporeon continued to refuse. It was until the Prince Jayce himself sent a letter directly to Princess Coral, who finally accepted the offer to battle.
Though her family told her not to, Princess Coral didn't listen to them. She was determined to show this prince that even though he has the type advantage that she could win! After a few weeks the battle was scheduled to take place in the Eevee kingdom. The two champions would meet to find out who would win!
Both kingdoms began to fill the arena that would host the event of this most anticipated battle between the two unbeaten champions. The vaporeons were nervous for their beloved Princess as they didn't like the idea of her battling a Jolteon.
The Jolteons were excited and felt like their prince was going to win the battle easily. Bets were made, the Vaporeon princess odds of winning were very small while the Jolteon prince held a high chance of winning and this made the prince a bit cocky. Even when he met Princess Coral in the arena he mocked her for being a Vaporeon telling her, that winning against her would prove who the superior one was. Coral remained quiet through his smack talk.
The battle finally begun, the two fought hard and the battle lasted 3 long hours. The princess was hit several times but continued to get back up. She also hit the prince multiple times causing him to grow angry and lose focus. Than the last move came. The princess hit Prince Jayce with a powerful hydro pump that sent him into a wall and knocked him out giving her the victory over the prince! The crowd erupted both in confusion and frustration from the Jolteons and happiness from the vaporeons.
Before any riots could happen, both eeveelutions were told to leave by the Eevee royal guard. The vaporeons left as quickly as possible to their home to celebrate their unbelievable victory over the Jolteons, while the Jolteons remained confused and frustrated as to what happened especially Prince Jayce who was embarrassed by the loss.
He vented in his anger taking it out on almost anyone who came to him. He demanded a rematch with the princess who kept refusing the match due to the injuries she received from the hard fought battle, but the prince continued to send letters to her.
Finally she gave in for one more battle, giving the prince what he wanted. Prince Jayce vowed to win this time, even though the Jolteons weren't backing him 100% as they did last time.
The battle was going to take place in the flareon kingdom this time and both fighters showed up to battle one last time. This time the battle lasted 2 hours, but was just as intense as the last. Prince Jayce finally was victorious after several attacks causing Princess Coral to pass out. This caused a angry uproar by the vaporeons who had to be separated by the flareons. When the fight was over Prince Jayce looked at the unconscious princess and his heart began to feel a pain he had never felt before. When he tried to get close, the Vaporeon royal family covered their princess from him preventing him from coming close again.
When the crowd was taken care of and sent away Prince Jayce went home only wondering what would happen to the princess and if he had crossed the line with his attacks. He could only sit and wonder as the Jolteons were celebrating his victory, he refused to join in.
He sent letters to the Vaporeon royal family begging for a update on Princess Coral's health but never received an answer.
The days turned to weeks, the weeks turned into months, and after 3 months of waiting Prince Jayce finally took off to the Vaporeon kingdom His guards followed closely and one went to alert the royal family of his departure who sent their elites and lightning maidens after him. When they caught up the prince arrived at the Vaporeon territories border.
Prince Jayce walked over to the Vaporeon guards who threatened the Jolteon if he came over that he would be sorry and be shown no mercy. The Jolteon elites and maidens were about to attack until Jayce gave an order to stand down and leave. The guards were about to disobey but reluctantly followed the prince's sending another messenger to the Jolteon royal family, so that they would know what was happening.
After the news reached the royal family they left immediately to the border and when they arrived, their son had crossed over and was on his stomach with Vaporeon elites surrounding him and the Vaporeon royal family standing nearby. When the Jolteon king was about to give the order to attack, Prince Jayce yelled for him to stop and let him be Princess Coral's slave. Both royal families were taken aback by the prince's statement especially Princess Coral.
Prince Jayce's parents begged him not to do this, but the young prince had his mind made up and was ready for whatever was about to happen. The vaporeons took the prince away giving him to their princess who caused him a lot of pain and humiliation. The prince did as he was told and allowed her to do whatever she wanted to him.
After several months the Princess Coral began to be less aggressive towards Jayce and eventually started spending time with him and they got to know each other personally, against the her parents wishes. When they saw how close the two started to become, they took action and asked a high ranking elite to marry their daughter. When Princess Coral found out about this she was angry with her parents and tried to get out of it, but was told if she didn't accept the proposal she would no longer be a princess of the vaporeons.
Princess Coral was full of compassion for her people and couldn't leave them. She went to Jayce and released him from his servitude to her telling him, he must return home to his people and take care of them as she was going to do for her people. Though he didn't want to leave her because he had fallen in love with her, he did as she advised and went back to the Jolteon kingdom where he was welcomed back with much excitement.
After several weeks the two continued to think about their time together. When the wedding for Princess Coral arrived she made her final decision and left only leaving a note to tell everyone where she went, which was to the Jolteon kingdom. When she arrived at the border the jolteon guards were hesitant to let her in, but being convinced by her charm they allowed her to come through and took her to the palace where they searched for Prince Jayce.
When they found him, Princess Coral ran up to him and kissed him which took him by surprise but he leaned in and kissed her back. When the Jolteon royal family found out about the two being in love they tried to separate the two but failed. Things got a bit more intense when the vaporeons came to the palace to get their princess back.
The two lovers refused to give each other up again, which almost caused a war to happen. Fortunately for Coral and Jayce they both quickly came up the idea for peace if the two were to marry which would open trade and both kingdoms would have a reason to never fight again. The two sides thought this over and made the decision right there to become allies through the marriage of Jayce and Coral.
The wedding came and went and both of the kingdoms became close allies through the marriage opening up trade and sharing land. The kingdoms gained wealth and decided to add the flareons and eevees as well making the alliance that much stronger.
The Jayce and Coral became ambassadors for both of their kingdoms going to different kingdoms to try and open trade or see if the other eeveelutions wanted to become apart of the new alliance, but only the four kingdoms continued to be the only ones for several more years. During that time frame Jayce and Coral had eight children, their youngest being an Eevee they named Trace.
Trace was smart, energetic, and very interested in learning about all eeveelutions, which would make him valuable to his parents during their travels while the other children though smart as well, decided to research the evolved forms they were interested in becoming. Trace though was special and his parents and those he met felt like he was going to change the world for the better.
