Tales of the Eeveelutions

The Purge of the Umbreons

The eeveelutions were living in a simple time of peace after the slyveons were discovered, and all nine territories formed their own kingdoms with royal families, guards, standing armies, and each eeveelution began to learn how to farm their own foods. Other Pokémon lived in the territories, but were often times not seen.  One day though, the Jolteons and the flareons began to have tension between the two kingdoms. After arguing over a large patch of land a battle broke out making the two kingdoms The slyveons tried to break up the fight, but were attacked and made the once peaceful creatures, declare war for the first time.
After several battles the slyveons believed the other eeveelutions couldn't live peacefully, so they had to force them. The slyveons went to the Leafeons and tried to overthrow the nature loving creatures. When the slyveons failed due to lack of understanding of the territory they pulled back. Even though slyveons were tough they didn't have enough troops to go to war.
During the times of war among the kingdoms the eevees were in the middle of it all sometimes being forced to join the different eeveelutions, except the umbreons who allied with the normal types and helped them when needed.
This alliance between the umbreons and eevees annoyed many of the eeveelutions, but not as much as the espeons, who began a plot to destroy the dark type counterparts. The espeons decided they should spread a lie starting with the eevees once they showed they would no longer take part in forcing them to be espeons and to be their ally.
The eevees started trusting the espeons when they were showered with gifts and what seemed like friendship, and when the time seemed right the espeons told the eevees how the umbreons were only allies to the eevees to slowly take over their land and their people. This news disturbed the eevees and word spread through to the other kingdoms rather quickly. The Jolteons and vaporeons were first to hear it and this concerned them since they had quite a distance from the umbreons being separated from them with the Eevee kingdom between them. The Jolteons made a truce with the eevees and espeons as well as flareons and vaporeons. The slyveons were invited to join the alliance, and though they weren't happy about the idea of eliminating the umbreons they were convinced the umbreons, being dark types, were evil and were the main threat to peace to all the lands and must be stopped before they shrouded the lands in darkness. Once the slyveons joined they believed it would end all wars and that peace would reign in the kingdoms forever. 
As the alliance grew the Jolteons went to convince the Leafeon they must join and they would receive a great reward for joining the alliance and help put an end to the umbreons, while the espeons, flareons and slyveons met with the Glaceons telling them that they would be allowed to trade with the other kingdoms, if they would only join to end the umbreons claiming them as evil to all eeveelutions.
Once all eight kingdoms formed this alliance, they brought their armies together and began to march to the Umbreon territory. The umbreons were caught by surprise as the eight armies started their invasion and the purge had begun. All creatures who lived in the Umbreon kingdom including the Eevee were all slaughtered and after several days of fighting the umbreons had been destroyed, their territory laid in ruin and hardly anything but the mountains remained.
The eight royal families celebrated this as a major victory and there would never again be a Umbreon as long as the kingdoms were there to prevent it by erasing any knowledge of how to evolve and making sure their eeveelutions knew that the night should never be loved by any. A law was passed to make sure that if anyone evolved into a Umbreon that they would suffer the wrath of the eight kingdoms and would go through unbareable torture and pain.
Peace once again was with the eeveelutions, for a short time before territory disputes happened once more causing the kingdoms to break apart, the only thing remaining of the alliance was the law against umbreons that every royal family member at the time signed.
