It had been a year since the Pevensies and Caspian started ruling over Narnia once more. They called this age 'The Crystal Age'. Narnia had never been so at peace since the Golden Age. They hoped that this age was one that would last endlessly. But unfortunately, all things must come to an end eventually.

Peter and Edmund started training with Glenstorm. Sure, the centaur wasn't Oreius, but he was just as tough and just as hard on them. Peter had to be just as Magnificent as he once was. He was a golden example of the prestigious ruling the country was now under. Now that there was no High King, the five of them would make decisions together. Peter would constantly try to use the "I'm older" card on his siblings as well as Caspian, but that came to no avail. Peter had also been certified in piggyback rides, according to Lucy.

Lucy had started teaching a class to the younger children of Narnia. She would teach them about having faith in what they believed in. She also had been taking archery lessons from Susan, though she finally accepted that she would never be as good. Susan has also been teaching her how to braid hair, but she spent most of it with Caspian. She needed to practice on somebody, so Edmund reluctantly agreed, even though his hair was very short. Though who could say no to Lucy?

Edmund had been studying and trying to catch up on the 1300 years of history he missed.

The others were more focused on the present, but how could one focus on the present when they didn't know how it came to be? He also studied all the constellations in the sky

The others were more focused on the present, but how could one focus on the present when they didn't know how it came to be? He also studied all the constellations in the sky. He would excitedly show them to Lucy or Peter every time he would find a new one. Lucy loved the stars and Peter liked it because it made Edmund happy. The stars would always remind the siblings of Edmund in times to come. He also has been training with Peter, but sometimes snuck his way out of training to go into the Western Woods. Afterall, there was no more danger in the Western Woods since all of the White Witch's followers were dead, or so he hoped. Though you can never be too precocious, he always brought his sword Philipus, just in case. He has always felt at home in Narnia, especially the Western Woods. After all, by the time he comes back he is stampeded with courtroom cases that no one else wants to do. That was what he got for being the Just after all.

While the three were learning to live their new life, Susan and Caspian were happily courting each other while respecting the traditions with the utmost honour. Every night, Caspian and Susan would walk the grounds of Cair Paravel having long talks and laughing with each other. They were happy and grateful for the life they had been living for the past year even though they wished that they hadn't lost their time. After their time together, he would see her to her room like a gentleman and leave only after giving her a kiss.
