Once, there were four children who stood at an underground train station. They had just returned from a land called Narnia but nobody around them was aware that they ever had left. The children thought that their adventure was over. After all, it wa...
Susan Pevensie looked at the cheeriness surrounding her. But her eyes were searching for another set of deep brown eyes among the crowd. She was trying to find his new beard, and straighter hair, and she was hoping to see the sunshine that was his smile.
"Caspian!" She shouted for him. "Caspian..." She whispered, her legs walking across the sand. Her feet were dragging her forward. She only wanted to see him again.
There was one body that lay on the sandy ground near the shores trying to catch his breath. He was holding his stomach breathing in rapid stops.
"Caspian!"
"Susan," he whispered as she lifted his hand and looked at the wound.
"No!" She gasped.
"Susan." A soft smile spread across his face.
"Caspian," she cupped his face in her hands and rested his head against her lap. "Lucy!" She looked around and shouted for her sister. "Lucy, please! Come here!" But the youngest Pevensie was too far to hear her.
"Susan," He lifted his hand to wipe away a tear on her face.
"Stay with me!" She pleaded, "Stay with me."

"Thank you....for finding me," he whimpered. "I'm not in pain anymore."
"No Caspian, stay with me." She scolded him but he only found pleasure in it, happy that he was able to listen to her voice one last time.
"Thank you,""His eyes were very weak to stay open but he was in the arms of the one person whom he had truly loved, and that was enough.
"I love you," She whispered as his hand fell to the ground. She rested her forehead against his and prayed for his survival.
A shadow passed them and spread a new whiff of wind on the two. Susan could feel an upliftment inside her and when she opened her eyes, she found the great lion standing in front of her, "Susan."
"Aslan?" She called out to him.
The King of Beasts kept his paw over the young King's wound and when his hand passed over it, the blood was gone and the wound was healed. "No innocent should have to die on this ground for having shown mercy time after time."
Caspian woke up, taking a deep breath and sat up straight. Susan held onto his arm and kept one near his neck for support. "Aslan," he smiled at the very depiction of the sun.
"Your father would be proud of you."
"Thank you."
"Caspian?" Susan asked, her blurry tear filled eyes getting the better of her.
"Susan."
Susan wrapped her arms around his neck and cried into his shoulders. "Don't you dare leave me again."
"It was you who left me the first time."
Susan slapped him across the face.
"Sorry. No more jokes."
She let him go and chuckled softly. "No, I like this side of you."

"Is that why you slapped me?"
By this time, the other three siblings came in search of their logical sister and when they found herself in Caspian's arms, they decided not to break their moment.
"Wow. They finally stopped wasting everyone's time." Edmund said as he broke the silence with a whisper.
"That is exactly what I was thinking!" Peter whispered back.
Lucy shook her head and smiled, "I think it is cute."
"Of course you do, Lu." Edmund shook his head.
"Yeah, girls love anything related to romance." Peter agreed.
"You are only saying that because neither of you have ever had a chance with girls," she flipped her hair back.
"I mean she's not wrong..." Edmund started.
"Edmund, do not give in." Peter nudged him.
Lucy smiled as she hugged her two brothers, not wanting to let them go, until she saw a familiar face.
"Aslan!" She called out as she ran as fast as she could towards the great lion. She held him in her arms, squeezing him even tighter than she did with her brothers.
"Rise my children." Aslan called out to the rest of the group that had knelt down before him. "Well done. Come travel and meet me on the border of my country. We have things to discuss there."

"How will we know where to go?" Caspian asked.
"You will know my child, you will know." And that's all Aslan told them before he vanished to meet them once again.
