Mercy Kills

By the time the Pevensies got the swords on the Table, Caspian and Sopespian were at each other's heads. Their swords clashed against one another as the island was becoming spilled with red. The crew, although inexperienced, were able to hold their own because of the weak state of the once Telmarine army.

"You thought you were King?" Sopespian taunted Caspian after he hit him in the stomach with the hilt of his sword. "You are nothing but a boy who lost his family."

"You should know better than to taunt me, Sopespian." Caspian regained his balance and charged for his head.

The two swords once again clanged against each other, the sound shrilled across the battlefield. Caspian did a three-sixty with his sword, which he learnt from Edmund after sparring with him. Sopespian's sword flew away from his hand.

Sopespian was defeated.

He fell to his knees and stared at the ground wide-eyed. He couldn't believe that he lost to a child.

"I told you. You should have known better than to taunt me." Caspian held his sword at his enemy's throat and stared at him without any expression on his face. He wanted to kill him after Sopespian had betrayed him twice.

But his heart was not in it, just like it hadn't been at it on the day of the Second Battle of Beruna

But his heart was not in it, just like it hadn't been at it on the day of the Second Battle of Beruna. "Leave," he spitted out.

"What?"

"Leave Narnia by the order of Caspian the Tenth, and never return. I will not show you mercy if I face you again. I hope I don't have to." He put his right hand forward to help the wounded trembling General up.

"You're right," Sopespian said as he took the hand. "But there was an old saying that once someone went down the path of revenge, nobody could pull him back."

Sopespian took Caspian's hand only as a support to stab him deeply, driving a dagger through his stomach.

Aslan jumped through the air--almost as if he was soaring--onto Camus and roared a deep roar right onto his face

Camus screamed as he felt the unexplainable pain pitifully attempting to push the lion off of him

Camus screamed as he felt the unexplainable pain pitifully attempting to push the lion off of him. Aslan willingly got off and spoke to him.

"Camus, you no longer possess any magic for it has been returned to the sorcerer you stole it from. You are now a mere mortal, just like my chosen four. Leave Narnia and never return, for you won't like the consequences if you don't."

"No!" Camus shouted, "I will not be banished again!" He shoved Peter and grabbed Lucy's dagger from him. He looked at the four of them and spoke. "You have not seen the last of me! Dead or alive I will get my revenge again!" He held the dagger to his throat and slit it. Blood poured out of his neck horrifying the others, until he went limp.

"Camus made his choice." Aslan spoke, turning to face them. "But what he doesn't know is that he will be banished in his next life, banished from my country."

"We won," Lucy whispered as she ran to hug Edmund.

"Yes Lucy, we won! We won!" He hugged her back.

"We got to go heal the crew members!" She shouted, running off as quickly as she could.

"Lucy come back!" Peter shouted as he ran after her.

"I should probably go help Lucy and Peter," Edmund told Susan and ran to catch up.

"Yes, you go. I am going to go find Caspian," she told him and ran in a separate direction.

Susan raced to the battle field, wind flowing behind her. She searched and searched but she couldn't find Caspian anywhere. She started to get worried, "Caspian?" She called out. There was no answer, "Caspian!" She screamed hoping to hear anything that would tell her Caspian was okay.

The only thing she heard was the wind blowing harshly through the trees, until the wind met its silence as well.
