Peter was about to head to sleep when he saw a light coming from his sister's room. He peeked through the window and saw Lucy studying the song very keenly. He shook his head and slowly opened the door. "Lucy?"

"Ah!" She jumped. "Peter, you startled me!"

"Sorry Lu, but what happened to going to sleep?"

"I thought that I could spend a little more time on the song. I think I figured out more of the first part though I still don't know how the first and second part are connected-"

"Lucy." Peter interrupted. "You need to take a break and get some rest.

You are starting to sound like Edmund," Peter added

You are starting to sound like Edmund," Peter added.

The both laughed. Lucy took out her dagger and started fidgeting with it.

"Lucy, you know that's not something to be messing around with."

"Yes I know. But I tend to fidget when I'm nervous. The blade in my hand gives me an assurance that I don't have to be alone."

"Don't worry. We will figure out the song..."

"No, it's not that." She sighed. "I'm worried about Edmund."

"What?"

"You mentioned Edmund and it reminded me of how I'm worried about him."

"He lost some blood, but he is going to be fine."

"Not that." She sighed, hesitating. "He tried to join the war right before we entered Narnia. He missed you and father too much....and Narnia as well."

Peter didn't say anything, Lucy saw through his deep blue eyes into his worry, which she had just given him. Before she could say anything more, he spoke up. "I'm going to go talk to him."

"But..." She was going to try to talk him out, but he had already left the room. She shook her head at how much she had missed Peter's protectiveness.

Meanwhile, Susan and Caspian were talking with each other in the Royal State Room. Susan was stealing glances at the poem on the wall, but she gave her full attention to Caspian. "Susan, is everything okay?" He asked her.

"Yes," she lied. "Actually, no. The poem has been running in my head ever since we got everything together and I have this sudden feeling that..." She looked up to meet his eyes. "That everything will change for the worse somehow."

Her shoulders started to shake and Caspian knew that it wasn't because of the weather. "Oh, Susan." He pulled her into a hug. "Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not really, no. I can't help but connect this feeling to the nightmare, that's all."

She was about to pull away from the hug when Caspian said, "Wait, don't pull away...not yet."

Susan understood the feeling. She needed human touch as well. She knew that no matter how much she loved him, she couldn't hold on forever. "We can't get serious, Caspian." She reminded him.
