Day of Hatred

Jake woke up the next morning, forgetting that he was in Drew's house. He got up and realized someone had left him clothes and a packed bag for school. He got dressed, grabbed his bag and met Drew at the front door. "Ready to go?" He asked Jake. Jake nodded and they walked to school. "Are you doing better after last night?" Drew asked Jake. "Yeah, thanks Drew." He replied. "Do you plan on telling anyone what happened?" Drew asked curiously. Jake hesitated, and replied, "No, i wont. Some people wont believe me and other's just wont care." Drew nodded in understanding. "My dad is picking up your new phone while we are at school today." Drew told him. Jake nodded and smiled. "Your family is so kind, Drew." Jake told him. Drew smiled. "yeah, i guess they are." A string of guilt built around him and he felt terrible, but he kept his mouth shut. They got to school and the day seemed to go by quickly until lunch. Jake headed to the music room for rehearsals. He opened the door and the atmosphere seemed dark and cold. Everyone looked at him. Milly had an angry look on her face and Luke looked hurt. he couldn't read anyone elses expressions. Milly marched up to him. "You BASTARD!" She shouted at him, Catching him off guard. "I thought you CARED about us! You Lied!" Milly was screaming at him. "W-What are you talking about?" He asked, scared and confused. Sean walked up and Jake thought he was going to reassure him. instead, Sean looked at Jake, and said, "To think we actually trusted you."  And he put his hand around Milly and led her away. Jake was confused and hurt. He looked at Luke and Luke looked away without saying anything. Hailey walked up to him with a blank expression. Zander beside her. She stared at him, and a single tear streaked from her eye and down her face. Her expression morphed into one of anger and rage and she tried punching Jake in the face. luckily, Zander grabbed her and pulled her back. "How could you?" She shouted and sobbed. "We trusted you. I trusted you!" She cried. Zander looked at Jake and to his surprise, didn't look angry. Instead, His face showed sadness. He said one thing to Jake. "Im sorry." And led Hailey away. Luke walked up to him. He wasnt mad and was acting normal. "Jake, im sorry about all this and although im upset about what you did, im not mad." Jake was confused. "What did i do wrong?" Luke didn't seem to hear him and if he did, he didn't care. "Im sorry to say this Jake, but...  your out of the club." Luke told him with a hint of sadness. Jake didn't know if he heard right and said, "W-What do you mean?" Luke looked at him and replied, "We all decided to kick you out. All of us but Zander." It felt like a kick to the stomach for Jake. Jake looked around at everyone. other than luke, the only person that didnt seem mad or disappointed, was Zander. Jake nodded weakly and said, "A-Alright.. ill L-Leave." And walked out the door as tears streaked down his face. Milly was still angry and Sean tried to get her to calm down. "ILL KILL HIM!" She shouted. "Milly, he's gone, you dont need to do anything." Sean told her. Zander managed to calm down Hailey but she was still sobbing. "Hailey, Please, stop crying." He begged her. " H-How could he D-Do something like T-That?" She asked between sobs. Zander said nothing and stared at the ground. "A-And, why arent y-you upset or angry w-with him?" She asked him, with a hint of accusation in her voice. Zander, once again, said nothing. The club had put their trust into him, and he had broken it.

Jake walked out of the music room in tears. Daisy saw him and ran up to him. "Jake! Whats wrong?" She asked with concern in her voice. Jake looked at her and said, "They kicked me out and i dont know why." Doing his best to keep his composure. "I don't want this. i dont want them to hate me." Daisy looked at him with an expression he couldn't read, then pulled out her phone. Jake was confused but didn't think anything of it. "Could this be why they kicked you out?" Daisy asked and showed him her phone. Jake read what she showed him and was horrified. "I-I didnt do that!" He said with fear in his eye's. Daisy saw his expression and sighed. "If it wasn't you, then who was it?" She asked sincerely. Jake thought for a moment, and told Daisy what had happened the night before. Daisy sat there for a moment and thought about it. "Maybe it was them, but you cant be sure. try explaining it to them." She suggested Kindly. "If i go in there, Hailey will kill me." Jake said, defeated. Daisy wanted to help him, but had to go. "Im sorry Jake, i have to go. i hope everything get's better." She said and walked away.  Jake sat outside the music room, and cried silently. Inside the music room, Milly had her ear pressed against the door. she fell backwards with a shocked expression. "GUYS!" Milly called out quietly. "Did you all see the news? the house that got robbed?" They all nodded except for Sean. "That was Jake's!" She told them with surprise in her voice. They all took a bit to process the information. "What if it really wasn't Jake?" Asked Luke with a concerned expression. "He could've done it before it happened." Answered Hailey flatly. "What if we give him a second chance?" Suggested Sean. "NO!" Shouted Hailey, with a tone that made it clear arguing was futile. The club was left with confusion, anger and guilt. 

Jake walked down the hall towards his locker and saw Drew and his friend's walking towards him. they spotted Jake and he panicked. He turned and ran down the hall, not wanting his friends to see him crying. He dashed into the bathroom and hid in a stall, not wanting to leave. ever.
